Hurricane Gustav slammed the Louisiana Gulf coast Monday morning at Category 2 intensity.  The rebuilt levees in New Orleans are being tested and water is coming over the top of them but so far no breaches have been found.

The first day of the Republican National Convention was scrubbed as the party tries to be sensitive to the people affected by Hurricane Gustav.  Is this the right response to show there are things much more important than conventions or is the GOP running scared after Katrina?

Former Democratic Party Chairman Don Fowler is apologizing after being caught on camera saying a hurricane during the week of the Republican convention shows that God was on the side of the Democrats.  What do you think?  Big deal or does everyone just need to lighten up?
