That’s the thesis of the new book by best-selling author Martin L. Gross.  “National Suicide” examines the countless ways the federal government deceives and burdens the middle class – through reckless spending, overreaching policies and a blizzard of redundant programs.  So how does government get away with this?  Why is this a bipartisan problem?  Why have the American people just let this happen?  Are small-government forces right in saying the 10th amendment forbids much of what the government does?
