Russian Army halts offense

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ordered the Russian army to stop its attacks in the Eastern European country of Georgia. Despite this, Georgian leaders have accused Russia of continuing its drive into the country.

War in Georgia

The Russian army has split the nation of Georgia in half with the capture of Gori, the main highway in that country. Does Ossetia have the right to secede from Georgia?
