Sinema’s Curious Silence, Inflation Sticking Around, Dr. Oz Way Behind

July 29, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Sinema’s Curious Silence, Inflation Sticking Around, Dr. Oz Way Behind” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they find a glimmer of hope in Sen. Sinema’s silence thus far on the Manchin-Schumer bill. They also wince as another reports high inflation is here for at least several more months. And they shake their heads as Dr. Oz is polling at just 36 percent in Pennsylvania and is badly trailing an opponent who hasn’t campaigned in more than two months.

Manchin Caves, Biden’s Insane Prisoner Swap, Devaluing Marriage

July 28, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Manchin Caves, Biden’s Insane Prisoner Swap, Devaluing Marriage” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three very bitter martinis. First, it’s a double shot of bad as Sen. Joe Manchin abandons his inflation concerns to push corporate tax increases and hundreds of billions in climate change programs – and it’s all going to happen because the GOP got outsmarted by Senate Dems. They also fume as the Biden administration offers to free one of the world’s worst terrorists in exchange for two Americans held in Russia. And they lament a new Gallup poll showing that just 29 percent of Americans think couples with children should be married. And the numbers aren’t that much better among conservatives.

Youngkin’s Strong Start, FBI Plays Politics, Recipe for Election Chaos

July 27, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Youngkin’s Strong Start, FBI Plays Politics, Recipe for Election Chaos” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome good poll numbers for Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin and strong support for much of his agenda. They also shudder as Sen. Chuck Grassley unveils more evidence that the FBI actively covered up allegations against Hunter Biden during the 2020 campaign. And they point out the insanity of Maryland election law allowing mail-in ballots to arrive 10 days after election day – and fear this could create tremendous controversy if it happens in key races around the country this year.

Good News In Missouri; Peak Left-Wing Media Saturation; What Is A Recession Anyway?

July 26, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Good News In Missouri; Peak Left-Wing Media Saturation; What Is A Recession Anyway?” on Spreaker.

Jim is joined by Chad Benson for lunch today. Cheers!

GOOD: It’s starting to look like Missouri Republicans won’t select the suicide mission of nominating Eric Greitens!

GOOD (Round Two): It’s not so much that it’s good that Samantha Bee’s show is canceled, so much that networks are realizing that the market for left-wing therapy late night shows is oversaturated…

BAD: Biden says we’re not in a recession, which is more or less a sign that Thursday will confirm we’re in recession.

Redefining A Recession, Al Gore’s Ugly Analogy, Media Boost Beto Again

July 25, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Redefining ‘Recession,’ Al Gore’s Ugly Analogy, Media Boost Beto Again” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they hammer the Biden economic team for insisting two straight quarters of negative economic growth is not necessarily a recession. They also verbally pummel former Vice President Al Gore for comparing anyone not on board with his big government climate agenda to the police who refused to confront the shooter in Uvalde, Texas. And they get a kick out of NBC News once again wondering if this is the year that Democrats win in Texas with yet another glowing profile of Beto O’Rourke and his uphill campaign for governor.

Biden’s Bogus Climate ‘Emergency,’ Rep. Zeldin’s Attacker Freed, Casual WH COVID Response

July 22, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Bogus Climate ‘Emergency,’ Zeldin Attacker Freed, Casual WH COVID Response” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they reject Biden’s plans to overstep his constitutional boundaries in the name of a climate emergency. They also condemn the attempted stabbing of Rep. Lee Zeldin as he campaigned for governor of New York – and for the insane no cash bail policy that allowed his attacker to walk free the same night. And they vent as White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre says “it doesn’t really matter where President Biden contracted COVID after government spent the past two years keeping us away from dying loved ones, funerals, schools, churches and so many other parts of life.

Near the conclusion of the podcast, Jim and Greg announce a special upcoming edition of the 3 Martini Lunch and explain how you can be part of it.

Wrong About Trump Voters, Wrong About Mitt’s Dog, Wrong on Inflation

July 21, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Wrong About Trump Voters, Wrong About Mitt’s Dog, Wrong on Inflation” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg comment briefly on the news that President Biden tested positive for COVID Thursday morning. Then they dive into the New York Times series on columnists admitting things they got wrong. They welcome the admission from Bret Stephens that he was very wrong about Trump voters and they had many, many good reasons to be thoroughly fed up with politicians who stiffed them culturally, economically, and otherwise for decades. They also slam Gail Collins for her self-serving column about writing too much about Mitt Romney’s dog during the 2012 campaign. And they hammer Paul Krugman for saying he was wrong about inflation but then spending the rest of the column trying to explain how he really wasn’t.

Senate Slams Pentagon, Kavanaugh’s Fed Up Neighbors, De Blasio Drops Out

July 21, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Senate Slams Pentagon, Kavanaugh’s Fed Up Neighbors, De Blasio Drops Out” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three good martinis! First, they welcome reports of the Senate Armed Services Committee demanding the Pentagon stop wasting taxpayer dollars searching the Armed Forces for domestic extremists, who seem to be quite rare. They also react to Brett Kavanaugh’s leftist neighbors getting fed up with the vulgar pro-abortion demonstrators who are still infesting the neighborhood. And they’re glad to see Bill de Blasio dropping out of the race for Congress and starting to realize just how much New Yorkers loathed his performance as mayor.

Gas Price Spin, Dems Insult Latinas Again, Can Ryan Out-Fox Vance?

July 19, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Gas Price Spin, Dems Insult Latinas Again, Can Ryan Out-Fox Vance?” on Spreaker.

Jim & Greg are glad to see White House reporter James Rosen put Biden economic adviser Jared Bernstein on the spot as to why Biden takes no blame when gas prices rise and all the credit when they come down. They also shake their heads as yet another Democrat trots out stereotypical insults against a Republican Latina. And they get a good laugh as Ohio Democrat Tim Ryan rolls out a new ad of him being praised by Fox News hosts.

Child Support from Conception, Border Prosecution Failure, Saudis Embarrass Biden

July 18, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Child Support from Conception, Border Prosecution Failure, Saudis Embarrass Biden” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as the they welcome a new GOP bill to require child support from the month of conception. They also cringe at President Biden’s pathetic numbers of prosecutions for illegal border crossings even as illegal crossings hit record highs. And they unpack Biden’s disastrous trip to the Saudi Arabia.
