Biden’s Sinking Polls, Dems Defending TikTok, Sinema’s Curious Strategy

March 23, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Sinking Polls, Dems Defending TikTok, Sinema’s Curious Strategy” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome a new Associated Press poll showing Americans can clearly see President Biden’s weak performance on the economy and his overall job performance. They also groan as the CEO of TikTok tries to dodge questions about whether the app is spying on users and TikTok’s connection to the Chinese Communist Party. Plus, they hammer the Democrats for glibly opposing the effort to crack down on TikTok after agreeing to ban it on government devices last year. Finally, they break down Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s strategy of cozying up to the right in advance of a likely 2024 re-election bid.

Biden’s Weak Nominee, Tons of Missing Uranium, Emhoff’s Asinine Analogy

March 16, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Weak Nominee, Tons of Missing Uranium, Emhoff’s Asinine Analogy” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they scratch their heads over President Biden’s new Ambassador to India, whom no one seems impressed by and Republicans had to save with their votes. They’re more than a little uneasy as the International Atomic Energy Agency reports 2.5 tons of yellowcake uranium are missing from Libya. They roll their eyes vigorously as the husband of Vice President Harris compares parents yelling at school board to the Holocaust. But at the end, Jim is excited that Aaron Rodgers will soon be quarterback for the New York Jets.

Masks Off, China’s New Taiwan Threat, Pennsylvania Rerun?

March 7, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Masks Off, China’s New Taiwan Threat, Pennsylvania Rerun?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three crazy martinis! First, they note New York City Mayor Eric Adams demanding that people remove their masks before entering stores. It’s an effort to identify shoplifters and looters, which is good, but it wasn’t long ago that that you couldn’t do much of anything in the Big Apple unless you were masked up. They also shake their heads as China makes another overt threat towards Taiwan, mentioning a blacklist of Taiwanese figures to kill during the coming invasion. Finally, there’s less than thrilled that the Republican who lost the Pennsylvania governor’s race last year is thinking about running for U.S. Senate next year.

Biden Ditches Dems Over D.C., Portland’s Crime Problem, Manchin’s Delicate Dance

March 3, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Biden Ditches Dems Over D.C., Portland’s Crime Problem, Manchin’s Delicate Dance” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they get three or even four pieces of good news over President Biden deciding to sign legislation to reverse new, softer crime laws in Washington, D.C., if the Senate passes it. They also wince as Portland’s rampant looting problems force Nike to demand security from off-duty police officers and Walmart announces it is closing every store in the city. Finally, they get kick out of Sen. Joe Manchin trying to get back in the good graces of West Virginia voters by pretending he’s not sure if he would support President Biden for another term.

Two Dems Defy Biden, Garland’s Night Blindness, Kerry Disappointed In Us

March 2, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Two Dems Defy Biden, Garland’s Night Blindness, Kerry Disappointed In Us” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome Sens. Joe Manchin and Jon Tester joining with the GOP to pass a bill reversing a Labor Department rule on factoring climate and social matters (ESG) into investing decisions. We realize it’s a political calculation but Tester and Manchin still voted the right way. They also thoroughly unimpressed by the Senate testimony of Attorney General Merrick Garland, who says there have been so few arrests in response to attacks on pregnancy centers because the crimes happened at night. Finally, they are crestfallen to learn Biden Climate Envoy John Kerry is disappointed in so many of us for how we drive, heat our homes, and more.

Exposing FBI Bias, Fetterman Health Falsehoods, Left Attacks Free Speech Again

February 10, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Exposing FBI Bias, Fetterman Health Falsehoods, Left Attacks Free Speech Again” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they applaud the congressional testimony of former FBI Special Agent Nicole Parker about how the politics of the FBI’s leadership are affecting the work and the credibility of the bureau. But will shining the spotlight on this result in any meaningful changes? They also fume as new reporting on Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman’s stroke and very difficult recovery prove that the campaign and Fetterman’s doctor flat-out lied to the people of Pennsylvania and that Fetterman’s inability to process what he hears is making it very difficult for him to do his job. Finally, they unload on the State Department for spending U.S. tax dollars through outside groups to muzzle conservative reporting through the Orwellian-sounding Global Disinformation Index.

Blowing Up the Left’s Border Narrative, Hunter Biden’s Desperation, Feinstein’s Waiting Game

February 2, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Blowing Up the Left’s Border Narrative, Hunter Biden’s Desperation, Feinstein’s Waiting Game” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer new Texas Rep. Wesley Hunt for blasting the left’s narrative that conservative outrage over Biden border policies is rooted in racism rather than national security and trying to protect our communities from drug traffickers and human smugglers. They also respond to Hunter Biden imploring state and federal officials to prosecute people for accessing and disseminating his personal materials – a move which also admits once and for all that it was his laptop that President Biden and dozens of partisan intelligence operatives assured us was Russian disinformation. Finally, they wonder why California Sen. Dianne Feinstein insists on delaying the inevitable announcement that she will not seek re-election next year. They also assess Nancy Pelosi formally endorsing Adam Schiff in the Senate race.

Justice Poised to Run, California Wastes Massive Rain, Dems’ Suddenly Love Georgia

January 31, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Justice Poised to Run, California Wastes Massive Rain, Dems’ Suddenly Love Georgia” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they anticipate a U.S. Senate run from GOP West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice and whether that will change Sen. Joe Manchin’s plans for 2024. They also react to former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels announcing he will not run for U.S. Senate next year. Then, they fume as water-starved California lets 95 percent of the recent deluge of rain flush out into the Pacific Ocean in order to save the delta smelt in a key part of the state. Finally, they shake their heads as Democrats go from declaring Georgia Jim Crow 2.0 to a leading candidate to host next year’s Democratic National Convention.

Iowa Chooses School Choice, Adams’ Border Complaints, Schiff’s Senate Run

January 26, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Iowa Chooses School Choice, Adams’ Border Complaints, Schiff’s Senate Run” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer Iowa becoming the latest state to pass sweeping school choice legislation which gives parents more options on where and how to educate their kids and creates more competition for our schools. They also groan as New York City Mayor Eric Adams complains about the burden placed on his city to deal with the flood of people who entered the nation illegally. The buses from red state governors are a drop in the bucket compared to the numbers of migrants being shuttled all over the nation by the federal government. They also react to Rep. Adam Schiff’s TikTok video complaining about his ouster from the House Intelligence Committee, which he immediately turned into a fundraising pitch just in time for his new campaign for the U.S. Senate.  And Jim reacts to the speculation that Aaron Rodgers could be headed to the New York Jets.

Dems Target Sinema, Klain Leaving White House, Tank Fight

January 23, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Dems Target Sinema, Klain Leaving White House, Tank Fight” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they consider whether Republicans have a better shot at winning a U.S. Senate seat in Arizona now that liberal Rep. Ruben Gallego announced he is seeking the Democratic nomination in order to run against Sen. Kyrsten Sinema – who was a Democrat and is now an independent.  Can the GOP take advantage of a three-way race? They also welcome the news that White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain will be leaving soon after steering the Biden administration far to the left on many issues and then unconvincingly trying to spin us on the consequences of that approach. Finally, Jim breaks down the impasse on the Pentagon opposing sending M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine and Germany refusing to send tanks unless we do.
