November 30, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Public Rejects BBB Provisions, Chris Cuomo’s Complicity, Troubling Twitter Policy” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg are glad to see the public opposed by lopsided margins to many of the extreme provisions in the “Build Back Better” legislation. They also discuss new revelations about how involved Chris Cuomo was in helping his brother try to weather his many scandals. And they call foul on Twitter’s new policy banning any media unless everyone in the video or photo agrees to it.

November 29, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Defying Beijing, No Gov. McConaughey, WHO Bows to Xi” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg cheer the bipartisan congressional delegation that defied Chinese demands not to visit Taiwan. They also react to the news that actor Matthew McConaughey will not run for governor in Texas. And they groan as the World Health Organization skips a letter of the Greek alphabet in naming the new COVID variant so it would not offend China.

Shifting Senate Forecast, Wisconsin Parade Horror, Peng’s Public Appearance

November 22, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Shifting Senate Forecast, Wisconsin Parade Horror, Peng’s Public Appearance” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the Cook Report shifting three critical 2022 Senate races from leaning towards the Democrats to being pure toss-ups…and all of them are held by Democrats. They also shudder over the horrific killing and serious injuring of people at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday. And they wonder why the suspect was even free in the first place. And they assess the significance of Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai appearing in public for the first time since her allegations that she was raped by a former high-ranking official in the Chinese Communist Party.

WTA vs. China, House Passes BBB, Left Still Sneering at Parents

November 19, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “WTA vs. China, House Passes BBB, Left Still Sneering at Parents” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg stand up and cheer for Women’s Tennis Association President Steve Simon and numerous players for publicly demanding that China prove that longtime tennis star Peng Shuai is alive and well and their her allegations of rape against a former high-ranking communist party official be seriously investigated. And they cheer Simon for willing to lose a billion dollars by pulling our of events in China if his concerns are not addressed quickly. They also cringe as the House of Representatives passes the bloated, deficit-growing spending bill known as Build Back Better, but they take a bit of solace in knowing this version likely won’t become law. And they fire back at an MSNBC columnist for telling parents that making demands about school policy and the curriculum is like telling a surgeon how to operate on your child.

Harris & the Border, FBI & Parents, Public Questions Biden’s Health

November 18, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Harris & the Border, FBI & Parents, Public Questions Biden’s Health” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they dissect DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas telling lawmakers Vice President Harris really isn’t involved on major immigration policy decisions like “Remain in Mexico” or the proper role of ICE. They also fume at Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI after a whistleblower reveals that the counterterrorism division was involved in tracking parents for alleged threats towards school officials. And they discuss when Democrats will get transparent about President Biden’s health after a new poll shows huge swings in the number of people who don’t think Biden is in good health or mentally up to the job.

Biden’s Weak Blame Game, Kenosha Judge Threatened, ‘Disappearing’ in China

November 17, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Weak Blame Game, Kenosha Judge Threatened, ‘Disappearing’ in China” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three bad but important martinis today. First, they roll their eyes as the Biden administration suddenly blames energy companies for high gas prices and suggests the Congressional Budget Office cannot be trusted if it gives the reconciliation plan a bad score. And they shudder as a a former high-ranking Chinese tennis player disappears after accusing a top government official of raping her. And the latest evidence supposedly suggesting she is alive and well actually makes us think exactly the opposite.
