Manchin Caves, Biden’s Insane Prisoner Swap, Devaluing Marriage

July 28, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Manchin Caves, Biden’s Insane Prisoner Swap, Devaluing Marriage” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three very bitter martinis. First, it’s a double shot of bad as Sen. Joe Manchin abandons his inflation concerns to push corporate tax increases and hundreds of billions in climate change programs – and it’s all going to happen because the GOP got outsmarted by Senate Dems. They also fume as the Biden administration offers to free one of the world’s worst terrorists in exchange for two Americans held in Russia. And they lament a new Gallup poll showing that just 29 percent of Americans think couples with children should be married. And the numbers aren’t that much better among conservatives.

Manchin Buries BBB, Missing Secret Service Messages, Dems vs. Latinas

July 15, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Manchin Buries BBB, Missing Secret Service Messages, Dems vs. Latinas” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the latest announcement from Sen. Joe Manchin that he will not support the left’s climate agenda or tax increases in the latest attempt to revive what’s left of the Build Back Better agenda. They also dig into reports that text messages from Secret Service devices are missing from January 5-6, 2021, and that is sparking fierce condemnation from all political angles. And they hammer Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego for saying a congressional candidate in his state is not an authentic Latina because she took her husband’s last name.

Dem Agenda Sinking, December Jobs Disappointment, Ned’s Nursing Home Nightmare

January 7, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Dem Agenda Sinking, December Jobs Disappointment, Ned’s Nursing Home Nightmare” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the news that Senate Dems have virtually no hope of advancing their bill to federalize elections and BBB isn’t faring any better. They wince as the December jobs report once again comes in way below expectations. And they throw up their hands as Connecticut orders COVID-positive patients into nursing homes.

2021 Martini Awards Part 5: Most Overreported Story, Most Underreported Story, Best Story of 2021

December 30, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “2021 Martini Awards Part 5: Most Overreported Story, Most Underreported Story, Best Story of 2021” on Spreaker.

It’s media day in our year-end Three Martini Lunch awards and Jim and Greg have plenty to say about how things were covered – if they were covered at all.  Specifically, they look at the stories the mainstream media covered far too much, the ones they conveniently ignored because they didn’t fit their narrative, and they highlight what they saw as the best stories of 2021.

Dems Plot Against Manchin, COVID Test Shortages, Latinos Overwhelmingly Disapprove of Biden

December 21, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Dems Plot Against Manchin, COVID Test Shortages, Latinos Overwhelmingly Disapprove of Biden” on Spreaker.

Jim & Greg marvel at how dumb Democrats are to turn the heat up on Sen. Manchin. They also slam the FDA and the Biden administration for COVID tests being very hard to get. And their jaws drop at a new new poll showing Latinos overwhelmingly disapproving the job Biden is doing as president.

Manchin Buries BBB, De Blasio’s Dictator Complex, Kamala Clueless on Variants

December 20, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Manchin Rejects BBB, De Blasio’s Dictator Complex, Kamala Clueless on Variants” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer Sen. Joe Manchin’s announcement that he is a no vote on Biden’s massive “Build Back Better” spending plan full of far-left priorities. They also hammer outgoing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for his almost gleeful pronouncement that if you threaten to take away people’s paychecks and their ability to enjoy life, you can get them to do what you want them to. And they shake their heads as Vice President Kamala Harris claims the entire Biden administration was caught off-guard by the COVID variants this year.

BBB Gridlock, Vax Mandate Defiance, Greedy ‘Meat Conglomerates’

December 15, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “BBB Gridlock, Vax Mandate Defiance, Greedy ‘Meat Conglomerates'” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they enjoy two good martinis along with a crazy one. They’re thrilled with the news that President Biden and Sen. Manchin remain far apart on the massive spending & entitlement legislation and a vote this year is looking more and more unlikely. They also cheer Amtrak for announcing it will not be enforcing a vaccine mandate, the latest blow to Biden’s efforts to force private companies to demand employees get the vaccine. And Jen Psaki sets herself for another day of withering fire by insisting that we’re seeing much higher prices for beef due to the “greed of meat conglomerates.”

Why More Latinos Voted GOP, Biden’s Ongoing Afghan Fiction, Psaki’s CBO Nonsense

December 14, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Why More Latinos Voted GOP, Biden’s Ongoing Afghan Fiction, Psaki’s CBO Nonsense” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome research from a left-leaning firm showing that a growing number of Latino voters are very concerned that Democrats are embracing socialism and other far-left positions – and it is translating into more Latino support for Republicans. They also sigh as President Biden yet again claims there was no better way to withdraw from Afghanistan. And Jim is briefly left speechless as White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says the Congressional Budget Office score of the latest massive spending bill is “fake.”
