Hunter Biden Tax Indictments, CAIR’s Extremism & Biden’s Retreat, Pentagon vs. Free Speech

December 8, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Hunter Biden Tax Indictments, CAIR’s Extremism & Biden’s Retreat, Pentagon vs. Free Speech” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they close out the week with three big martinis. First, they review the nine new tax charges filed against Hunter Biden, including three felonies, and review just how brazen Hunter’s lies to the IRS were.  Listener discretion advised as we discuss his “business expenses.”
They also recoil at the comments of CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, who referred to October 7 as Gaza removing the shackles and leaving its concentration camp and alleged Gaza has the right to self-defense but Israel does not. And they note how quickly the Biden administration is now pretending it did not have a warm relationship with CAIR up until the speech.
Finally, they react to the latest reporting from Michael Shellenberger showing how a cyber threat entity inside the Pentagon was allegedly turned into an effort to confront “disinformation” from Americans online.

Debate Aftermath, ‘People Need to Go to Jail,’ California GOP’s Surrender

August 24, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Debate Aftermath, ‘People Need to Go to Jail,’ California GOP’s Surrender” on Spreaker.

Inez Stepman of the Independent Women’s Forum and host of the “High Noon” podcast is in for Jim. Today, Inez and Greg break down the first GOP debate. Who did well? Who struggled? And did anything happen to dent Trump’s big lead? They also discuss the potentially criminal incompetence of officials in Maui that contributed to deaths of as many as 1,000 people and destroyed Lahaina. Inez lays out an infuriating series of bureaucratic insanity that wasted time and prioritized woke goals over people’s lives. Finally, they shake their heads as the California Republican Party voluntarily surrenders on a multitude of issues – and not just the cultural positions that are unpopular in the state but on several key issues where the public agrees with the longstanding GOP platform.

Timestamps:

0:45 – Analysis of the first GOP presidential debate, focusing on DeSantis, Ramaswamy, Haley, and Pence.

10:51 – Trump’s interview with Tucker Carlson

14:46 – Inez lists a multitude of ways that incompetence among officials in Maui cost many lives and argues there should be a full investigation and probably serious prosecution over the many inexcusable mistakes.

22:39 – The California Republican Party surrenders on many key issues, including positions that had been popular statewide

Red States Cutting Taxes, Hunter’s ‘Illusion of Access,’ Mysterious Land Grab

August 1, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Red States Cutting Taxes, Hunter’s ‘Illusion of Access,’ Mysterious Land Grab” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer red states for cutting state income taxes and moving towards eliminating them altogether. Then Jim blasts the “epic gaslighting” of Democrats like New York Rep. Dan Goldman for insisting Hunter Biden called his father during business meetings only to say hello and talk about the weather – that Hunter was really only offering the illusion of access to his dad, who was vice-president at the time. Finally, they’re unnerved as a mysterious firm pays $800 million to buy 52,000 acres of land near a California military base.

Massive COVID Fraud, Gas Stove Doublespeak, High-Speed Rail Delusion

June 19, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Massive COVID Fraud, Gas Stove Doublespeak, High-Speed Rail Delusion” on Spreaker.

Hillsdale College Radio General Manager and Radio Free Hillsdale Hour Host Scot Bertram is in for Jim today. Join Scott and Greg for one bad and two crazy martinis. After Scott shares his story of an All-American weekend, they are frustrated and unsurprised at the $403 billion in taxpayer-funded COVID relief that was lost to fraud and government waste. They then react to the mixed messages on gas stove bans, where the left continues to reassure Americans they will not be banned, while many municipalities have already begun their restrictions. Finally, they roll their eyes at the left’s obsession with high-speed rail, pointing out that the projects constantly cost much more than expected, and deliver lackluster results.

New Zealand Lockdown Queen Quits, 30 Percent Sales Tax? Gore’s Climate Rant

January 19, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “New Zealand Lockdown Queen Quits, 30 Percent Sales Tax? Gore’s Climate Rant” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the impending resignation of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, whose years in power were most notably marked by draconian COVID policies and unilaterally outlawing the right to own many different weapons. They also shake their heads as some House Republicans propose a national 30 percent sales tax to replace all other federal taxes. They appreciate the effort to simplify the code and hope discussions continue but fear this plan will only be used by Democrats to hammer Republicans. Finally, they respond to former Vice President Al Gore bellowing about boiling oceans and a billion climate refugees.

Sinema’s Curious Silence, Inflation Sticking Around, Dr. Oz Way Behind

July 29, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Sinema’s Curious Silence, Inflation Sticking Around, Dr. Oz Way Behind” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they find a glimmer of hope in Sen. Sinema’s silence thus far on the Manchin-Schumer bill. They also wince as another reports high inflation is here for at least several more months. And they shake their heads as Dr. Oz is polling at just 36 percent in Pennsylvania and is badly trailing an opponent who hasn’t campaigned in more than two months.

Manchin Buries BBB, Missing Secret Service Messages, Dems vs. Latinas

July 15, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Manchin Buries BBB, Missing Secret Service Messages, Dems vs. Latinas” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the latest announcement from Sen. Joe Manchin that he will not support the left’s climate agenda or tax increases in the latest attempt to revive what’s left of the Build Back Better agenda. They also dig into reports that text messages from Secret Service devices are missing from January 5-6, 2021, and that is sparking fierce condemnation from all political angles. And they hammer Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego for saying a congressional candidate in his state is not an authentic Latina because she took her husband’s last name.

Jim Geraghty is back! Join Jim and Greg as they welcome news of Asian voters souring on President Biden in big numbers. Red State Growth, Will Russia Invade Ukraine? Biden’s Incoherent Response

December 22, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Red State Growth, Will Russia Invade Ukraine? Biden’s Incoherent Response” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the decision of Americans to leave high-tax blue states like New York, California, and Illinois and move to free states like Idaho, Utah, Texas, and Florida. But they do have one request for these new arrivals! They also cringe as the evidence seems to pile up that Russia is preparing to invade Ukraine early next year. And they discuss President Biden’s bewildering response to a question about whether his administration was unprepared for the Omicron variant.
