Trump Indicted Again, Automatic Absentee Ballots, Saudis Bullied Biden

June 9, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Trump Indicted Again, Automatic Absentee Ballots, Saudis Bullied Biden” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they mix another full batch of crazy martinis. First, they note another indictment of Donald Trump, this time by federal prosecutors over alleged mishandling of classified documents. They also break down the bizarre political fallout we’re likely to see from all of this and are surprised by an unlikely skeptic of the charges. They also groan as they discover Virginia allows voters to sign up on a list that automatically sends them absentee ballots for every election. It’s a recipe for mischief and suspicion, and asking people who want to vote absentee – most of whom could easily show and vote – to make a ballot request for each election is not asking very much. Finally, they react to reports that Joe Biden’s threat of “consequences” against Saudi Arabia was met with Saudi threats of “not dealing with the U.S. administration anymore.” So of course Biden caved.

GOP Senate Prospects, Cable News Debate Drama, Lightfoot Fails Upward

June 2, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “GOP Senate Prospects, Cable News Debate Drama, Lightfoot Fails Upward” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they’re intrigued about possible GOP Senate campaigns from Rep. Mike Gallagher in Wisconsin and baseball great Steve Garvey in California. They also cast a wary eye on CNN and MSNBC drooling at the chance to host Republican presidential debates because they may get major fireworks between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis. And given their constant anti-GOP content and their past performances in Republican debates, there’s plenty of reason for skepticism. Finally, they roll their eyes as failed former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot lands a prime teaching gig at Harvard University with a focus on leadership.

The Damning Durham Report, Biden vs. Adams, CNN Sinking Badly

May 16, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “The Damning Durham Report, Biden vs. Adams, CNN Sinking Badly” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they recount and analyze the key findings of Special Counsel John Durham, who has been investigating the FBI’s premise for launching the investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 elections. The conclusions are devastating to any remaining shreds of trust in our government: the collusion canard was created by the Hillary Clinton campaign and fed to the FBI, which launched a probe without a single piece of verifiable evidence. The Steele dossier was known to be false by late 2016 and yet top officials at the FBI and Justice Department signed off on FISA warrants that they knew were based on lies, and the Mueller investigation was launched under the same false pretenses. Jim and Greg have a lot to say about this. They also take a closer look at the publicly fraying relationship between President Biden and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, as the illegal immigration crisis engulfs the Big Apple and many other parts of the nation. Finally, they examine the pathetically low ratings of CNN, which is getting mauled by Fox News and MSNBC, and is now losing to NewsMax in prime time.

Kamala Forces Biden’s Plan B, Badly Broken Borders, DeSantis & 2020

May 15, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Kamala Forces Biden’s Plan B, Badly Broken Borders, DeSantis & 2020” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they break down Joe Biden’s Plan B for 2024. As Jim explains, Biden was not supposed to run again. He was supposed to serve one term and have Kamala Harris run this time, except she has been a massive disappointment as VP. They also cringe over the record-setting number of illegal crossings at our southern border last week – more than 83,000. They also note the rapidly growing number of “gotaways” and how the administration is trying to cook the books on the upcoming numbers. Finally, they scratch their heads as the mainstream media contend Gov. Ron DeSantis has trouble saying that Trump lost the 2020 election, but Jim points out DeSantis was pretty clear during his comments in Iowa last week.

Trump vs. CNN, Prosecutor Flees Chicago, Media Bury Biden Allegations

May 11, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Trump vs. CNN, Prosecutor Flees Chicago, Media Bury Biden Allegations” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they dissect the CNN town hall featuring Donald Trump, how Trump got everything he could want out of it, and CNN is now under heavy criticism for hw it played out. They also shudder while appreciating the honesty of a longtime Chicago prosecutor, who is resigning and leaving the state because “progressive reforms” have led to much more crime and violence and he refuses to raise his son there. And they fire back as the mainstream media either ignore the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into alleged influence peddling within the Biden family or contend the probe actually exonerates the president.

Biden Family Influence Peddling, Santos Indicted, Biden’s Border Dereliction

May 10, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Biden Family Influence Peddling, Santos Indicted, Biden’s Border Dereliction” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they react to the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability revealing Biden family influence peddling in multiple nations and a some 20 businesses created to provide layers between the foreign nationals and the Biden family. They also discuss the 13-count indictment against New York GOP Rep. George Santos and what comes next in his saga. Finally, as Title 42 expires tomorrow, they recoil at an NBC News report that the Biden administration is telling Customs & Border Protection to release illegal immigrants into our country with no way to track them and no orders to appear in court.

Vulnerable Senate Dems in ’24, The SCOTUS Illegitimacy Charade, Where’s the Manifesto?

May 5, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Vulnerable Senate Dems in ’24, The SCOTUS Illegitimacy Charade, Where’s the Manifesto?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they wrap up the week. After Jim’s choice comments on tomorrow’s coronation of King Charles III, they welcome the news that the seven most vulnerable Senate seats in 2024 are all held by Democrats. They also unload on former Clinton campaign figure Brian Fallon for hyperventilating that Justice Clarence Thomas needs to be removed from the Supreme Court and that the entire conservative majority is illegitimate. And they give the real reason the left is so upset about the high court. Finally, they wonder why the FBI still hasn’t released the manifesto from the Covenant School shooting in March and apparently has no plans to do so “anytime soon.”

Not Worried About Default, Decision Time on Hunter Biden, Russia’s Drone Strike Accusations

May 4, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Not Worried About Default, Decision Time on Hunter Biden, Russia’s Drone Strike Accusations” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they present two “good-ish” martinis and a crazy one. After a brief discussion on the declining quality of Star Wars shows and movies, they note how little lawmakers and President Biden plan to be in Washington this month. Jim suspects that schedule shows they are actually quite confident they’ll be able to reach a debt ceiling deal. They also welcome the news that we may soon know whether Hunter Biden will face any federal charges for his obvious violations of gun and tax laws, but they are not holding their breath. Finally, they dissect Russia’s claim that the U.S. is to blame for alleged drone strikes at the Kremlin.

Hunter Biden Whistleblower, Shootings Over Simple Mistakes, Christie’s Pointless Posturing

April 20, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Hunter Biden Whistleblower, Shootings Over Simple Mistakes, Christie’s Pointless Posturing” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they applaud the IRS whistleblower willing to come forward about politics interfering with the investigation of Hunter Biden. And they appreciate CBS News for actually covering the story. They also react to a bizarre string of shootings in response to simple mistakes like knocking on the wrong door, pulling into the wrong driveway, accidentally entering the wrong car, and even a child’s ball rolling into a neighbor’s yard. Are these coincidental or a sign of something worse? Plus, Jim explains why self-defense seems like a non-starter in these cases and why claiming it could be damaging for all of us. Finally, they throw up their hands as former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie seriously considers running for president.

Pompeo & Youngkin Pass, Erasing the Age of Consent, Chicago Mayhem

April 17, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Pompeo & Youngkin Pass, Erasing the Age of Consent, Chicago Mayhem” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they appreciate both former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin for recognizing reality and taking a pass on the 2024 presidential campaign. They think highly of both men and would not be surprised or unhappy to see either of them run another time but there was no path this time around. They also recoil as a horrific new report from multiple United Nations agencies advocates decriminalizing any sexual activity, including sexual relations between adults and minors, as long as it is “consensual”. Finally, they note the mayhem caused by scores of teenagers in downtown Chicago Saturday night and the response from incoming Mayor Brandon Johnson, who won’t condone the violence but also won’t “demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities.”
