Pelosi vs. China, Krugman’s Media Delusion, Watson’s Suspension

August 1, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Pelosi vs. China, Krugman’s Media Delusion, Watson’s Suspension” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they wade into the rare territory of giving credit to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for planning to visit Taiwan in the face of Chinese threats against her. Sadly, President Biden has once again displayed his default position of weakness on this issue as well. They also rip Paul Krugman for trying to claim that the economy is actually really strong and that people think their own financial situation is fine but the media keeps convincing everyone things are bad. And they dissect the six-game suspension for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson after two dozen women accused him of sexual harassment or worse but no criminal charges were filed.

Sinema’s Curious Silence, Inflation Sticking Around, Dr. Oz Way Behind

July 29, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Sinema’s Curious Silence, Inflation Sticking Around, Dr. Oz Way Behind” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they find a glimmer of hope in Sen. Sinema’s silence thus far on the Manchin-Schumer bill. They also wince as another reports high inflation is here for at least several more months. And they shake their heads as Dr. Oz is polling at just 36 percent in Pennsylvania and is badly trailing an opponent who hasn’t campaigned in more than two months.

Redefining A Recession, Al Gore’s Ugly Analogy, Media Boost Beto Again

July 25, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Redefining ‘Recession,’ Al Gore’s Ugly Analogy, Media Boost Beto Again” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they hammer the Biden economic team for insisting two straight quarters of negative economic growth is not necessarily a recession. They also verbally pummel former Vice President Al Gore for comparing anyone not on board with his big government climate agenda to the police who refused to confront the shooter in Uvalde, Texas. And they get a kick out of NBC News once again wondering if this is the year that Democrats win in Texas with yet another glowing profile of Beto O’Rourke and his uphill campaign for governor.

Inflation Gets Even Worse, Biden’s Lame Excuses, Hope for Dems in Midterms?

July 13, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Inflation Gets Even Worse, Biden’s Lame Excuses, Hope for Dems in Midterms?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they shudder at the news of 9.1 percent inflation over the past year. They also sigh as President Biden tries to claim the inflation report is “outdated” because gas prices have fallen since June. And they ‘re not happy to see a new generic congressional ballot poll showing Dems with a slight advantage.

Dems Bailing on Biden, Sri Lanka’s Chaos Could Spread, Sullying Shinzo Abe

July 11, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Dems Bailing on Biden, Sri Lanka’s Chaos Could Spread, Media Attack Abe” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss two-thirds of Democrats now wanting a Plan B in 2024 as President Biden’s approval numbers keep getting worse. They also discuss the massive upheaval in Sri Lanka and how the economic chaos there may well be repeated in other nations. And they shake their heads as the mainstream media treats Shinzo Abe gets more critical coverage in the media than evil figures like Baghdadi or Soleimani.

Shinzo Abe Assassinated, June Jobs Jump, NY’s New Gun Hurdles

July 8, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Shinzo Abe Assassinated, June Jobs Jump, NY’s New Gun Hurdles” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they recoil at the horrific assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and discuss why he was such a valuable U.S. ally. They also welcome better than expected job growth in June. And they wonder if New York Democrats learned anything from the Supreme Court decision as they pass new hurdles for residents to get concealed carry permits – including submitting their social media accounts for an evaluation of their character and conduct.

July 6, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Economy Dominates Midterms, Florida Getting More Red, Philly Mayor’s Odd Admission” on Spreaker.

Join Jim & Greg as they dissect new polls showing that inflation, gas prices, and other economic issues are the top concern for for more than three of every five Americans. They also welcome news that Florida leans increasingly to the right as GOP voter registrations dwarf the numbers put up by the Democrats. And they’re a bit stunned to hear Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kinney admit that he’s looking forward to the day he’s no longer mayor.

Asian Voters Bail on Biden, Recession Coming, More Gas Taxes

June 20, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Asian Voters Bail on Biden, Recession Coming, More Gas Taxes” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty is back! Join Jim and Greg as they welcome news of Asian voters souring on President Biden in big numbers. They also react to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers differing forecasts on whether we are headed for a recession. And they shake their heads as California gets set to hike gas taxes with prices already at record highs.

Rampant Pro-Abortion Violence, Dr. Oz’s Awful Polls, ‘Patriotism’ & Gas Prices

June 16, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Rampant Pro-Abortion Violence, Dr. Oz’s Awful Polls, ‘Patriotism’ & Gas Prices” on Spreaker.

Emily Jashinsky of The Federalist is in for Jim Geraghty. Join Emily and Greg as they recoil at the radical pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge taking responsibility for many violent attacks on pregnancy centers in recent weeks and vowing to be even more aggressive. They also sigh as new polls show Dr. Oz deeply unpopular among Pennsylvania voters – just as some of us warned. And they hammer the Biden administration’s latest lame narrative for high gas prices – the oil companies just aren’t patriotic enough to lower prices.

Bye Felicia, Ugly Inflation, Another Impeachment?

June 10, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Bye Felicia, Ugly Inflation, Another Impeachment?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they chronicle the Washington Post finally running out of patience and firing Felicia Somnez after she publicly condemned colleagues and the leadership of the paper for a week. They also cringe as inflation numbers are worse than expected and worse than any time since late 1981. And in the wake of the Dems’ prime time January 6th hearings, they react to Bill Kristol’s ridiculous call for Congress to impeach Donald Trump yet again.
