Bash Grills Booted Dems, Left’s Disinformation Con Job, Trump’s Shutdown Whiff

January 30, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Bash Grills Booted Dems, Left’s Disinformation Con Job, Trump’s Shutdown Whiff” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg give credit to CNN’s Dana Bash for asking tough questions of the three House Democrats House Speaker Kevin McCarthy wants booted from their sensitive committees – and their answers were rather unconvincing. They also react to the latest “Twitter Files,” exposing the powerful left-wing group Hamilton 68, which declared many Twitter accounts to be Russian bots or peddling Russian disinformation, when the vast majority were real people who just disagreed with the left’s narrative on various issues. Finally, they react to President Trump’s bizarre accusation that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis locked down his state far too long during the COVID pandemic, when the evidence is strongly to the contrary, and discuss why Trump is pursuing this line of attack.

New Zealand Lockdown Queen Quits, 30 Percent Sales Tax? Gore’s Climate Rant

January 19, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “New Zealand Lockdown Queen Quits, 30 Percent Sales Tax? Gore’s Climate Rant” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the impending resignation of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, whose years in power were most notably marked by draconian COVID policies and unilaterally outlawing the right to own many different weapons. They also shake their heads as some House Republicans propose a national 30 percent sales tax to replace all other federal taxes. They appreciate the effort to simplify the code and hope discussions continue but fear this plan will only be used by Democrats to hammer Republicans. Finally, they respond to former Vice President Al Gore bellowing about boiling oceans and a billion climate refugees.

Twitter Suspensions, School Mask Mandates Return, Buttigieg Bails Again

December 16, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Twitter Suspensions, School Mask Mandates Return, Buttigieg Bails Again” on Spreaker.

Federalist Radio Hour Host Emily Jashinsky is in for Jim today. Emily and Greg start by dissecting the left’s full meltdown over Twitter suspending several journalists on the left for violating the new doxxing rules. They also discuss the impact Twitter has in exposing media bias and whether Elon Musk’s actions break his pledge to champion free speech.
They’re also furious as Philadelphia public schools plan to impose a mask mandate on students when they return in January just as the damage done to poor and minority students in California from being out of school becomes clearer.
Finally, they wonder what exactly Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg does following reports he was vacationing in Portugal just a week before the nation was threatened with an economy-crippling railroad strike.

Trump’s Head Fake, Biden’s Border Madness, COVID & Car Insurance

December 15, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Trump’s Head Fake, Biden’s Border Madness, COVID & Car Insurance” on Spreaker.

Ricochet.com Editor-in-Chief Jon Gabriel is in for Jim. Today, Jon and Greg shake their heads as President Trump’s big announcement turns into a promotion for digital trading cards of himself. They also cringe as the Biden administration prepares to make the border crisis far worse by lifting Title 42 and ending the “Remain in Mexico” policy. Finally, they roll their eyes at research suggesting people who didn’t get the COVID shot are more dangerous drivers – meaning vaccination status could impact your insurance rates.

Widespread China Protests, Iran’s Blinding Crackdown, Trump’s Unappetizing Guests

November 28, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Widespread China Protests, Iran’s Blinding Crackdown, Trump’s Unappetizing Guests” on Spreaker.

After a brief discussion of the Jets decisive victory over the Bears, Jim and Greg cheer on the brave protesters in China who are fed up with the CCP’s suffocating COVID policies and demanding other freedoms in the face of a repressive regime. They also wince as an Iranian paramilitary group violently confronts protesters and even blinds many of them. And they react to Trump’s dinner with Kanye West last week that also included Milo Yiannopoulos and Nick Fuentes – a trio that Jim refers to as “the Mount Rushmore of lunatics.”

Surging GOP Polls, Sununu Delivers Reality Check, COVID Amnesty?

November 1, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Surging GOP Polls, Sununu Delivers Reality Check, COVID Amnesty?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome more polling indicators of a good midterm election night for Republicans – including dismal numbers on the state of the nation and a huge shift towards the GOP among suburban women in just the past couple of months. They also applaud New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu for calling out “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd for living in a bubble after Todd was incredulous that election denial was not the top concern for voters this year. And they tee off on the suggestion in “The Atlantic” that we should just grant each other amnesty over our differences on COVID policy and just move on.

Michigan’s Dead Heat, The Cost of COVID School Closures, New Russian Nuke Threat

October 24, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Michigan’s Dead Heat, The Cost of COVID School Closures, New Russian Nuke Threat” on Spreaker.

Greg is back! Join Jim and Greg as they welcome news that the Michigan governor’s race is a dead heat and one of the worst governors in the country could be in big trouble. They also cringe as national math and reading testing shows horrific numbers that are clearly a result of schools being closed – many of them much longer than necessary. And they react to reports that Russia’s defense minister was discussing the threat of a Ukrainian “dirty bomb” that most in the west see as nothing more than a manufactured pretext for Moscow to use nukes.

House GOP Agenda Coming, More Lab Leak Evidence, Russia Doubles Down

September 21, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “House GOP Agenda Coming, More Lab Leak Evidence, Putin Doubles Down” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the House GOP decision to put an agenda before the voters this year on the biggest issues where the Democrats have failed. They also discuss a former vice president from the EcoHealth Alliance stating under oath that COVID was a result of gain of function research in Wuhan funded in part by the National Institutes of Health. And they wince as Vladimir Putin orders 300,000 reservists to fight against Ukraine, while noting that these new soldiers are probably far less competent than the ones that have already failed.

Biden’s Demonizing Speech, GOP Senate Infighting, Who Wanted Schools Open?

September 2, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Demonizing Speech, GOP Senate Infighting, Who Wanted Schools Open?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they unload on President Biden for his ugly, partisan speech accusing Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans” for endangering our nation and then quickly labeling them as radicals for holding longstanding GOP political positions. They also fume about Mitch McConnell and Rick Scott publicly feuding about the party’s struggles in trying to win back control of the U.S. Senate, and Jim takes us into what what Sen. Scott’s mindset may be in all of this. And they hammer the Biden administration for trying to gaslight the American people about which party wanted schools to open quickly during the pandemic and which side found every excuse in the book to keep them closed.
