Abortion Language Even Worse

Ben Nelson.  He also explains what to look for in the House-Senate Conference and how this bill and its abortion provisions can still be derailed.

Ben Nelson would sell his vote and his ardent support for the unborn in exchange for $500 million in political favors.  Nebraska Right to Life Executive Director Julie Schmit-Albin says  Nelson ‘threw unborn babies under the bus’.  She also describes the frustrating call she had with Sen. Nelson the night before he announced his support for the Democratic health bill.

Obama Turns to ‘Total Blackmail’

Missouri Sen. Kit Bond says President Obama is engaging in the ‘worst kind of Chicago politics’ by threatening to close Air Force base in Nebraska to win the final Democratic vote for health care.  He also says Harry Reid is trying to ram through a bill that no Republican has even seen.  He also says the real vote is on cloture, and anyone who votes for cloture ‘owns it’ even if they vote against it on final passage.
