Pro-life leaders in Nebraska and around the country are furious that Sen. Ben Nelson would sell his vote and his ardent support for the unborn in exchange for $500 million in political favors. Nebraska Right to Life Executive Director Julie Schmit-Albin says Nelson ‘threw unborn babies under the bus’. She also describes the frustrating call she had with Sen. Nelson the night before he announced his support for the Democratic health bill.
