Middle Class Shifting to GOP, Homan’s Chilling Terror Warning, Dems Positioning for 2028

June 3, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Middle Class Shifting to GOP, Homan’s Chilling Terror Warning, Dems Positioning for 2028” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday edition of the 3 Martini Lunch as they dissect polls showing voters still trust Republicans more on the economy, shudder at Border Czar Tom Homan’s concern over major terrorist attacks in the U.S. due to Biden’s open borders, and size up the Democrats already dipping their toes into the water for 2028.

First, they highlight CNN’s Harry Enten reporting that Americans increasingly see Republicans as the party of the middle class and more trustworthy on economic issues. Enten appears frustrated by the trend, but Jim and Greg explain that the shift is no surprise—Democrats keep ignoring inflation, cost-of-living spikes, and pushing radical economic policies voters don’t want.

Next, they react to dire warnings from Border Czar Tom Homan, who says the Biden administration’s border failures have allowed two million “gotaways” into the country—migrants who deliberately avoided processing at the border. Homan warns it’s only a matter of time before some of these individuals commit a major terrorist attack inside the U.S.

Finally, they joke about the preemptive presidential campaigns begun by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore. In recent appearances in South Carolina, Walz called Trump a “wannabe dictator” and urged supporters to bully Trump. Meanwhile, Gov. Moore inists he’s not running for president in 2028 but keeps doing events like this. His record as governor is also not that great. And they also discuss the indecision of Kamala Harris over running for governor of California next year.

Warren Caught in Biden Lies, Leftist DA Won’t Charge Tesla Vandal, Schwab’s WEF Scandal

April 23, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Warren Caught in Biden Lies, Leftist DA Won’t Charge Tesla Vandal, Schwab’s WEF Scandal” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for Tuesday’s 3 Martini Lunch as they have a great time breaking down a series of jaw-dropping stories. They dig into Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s awkward admission about Biden’s mental decline, a far-left Minnesota prosecutor refusing to charge a leftist state employee who seriously vandalized numerous Teslas, and explosive allegations that Klaus Schwab grossly misused World Economic Forum resources. Plus, they uncover a Die Hard connection to another of the day’s biggest stories.

First, they thoroughly enjoy watching a progressive podcast host grill Sen. Warren over her insistence that she didn’t notice signs of President Biden’s cognitive struggles before last year’s debate. Warren ultimately tried to deflect, but Jim and Greg explain why this backpedaling will haunt Democrats and the media for a long time.

Next, they’re stunned by prosecutor Mary Moriarty’s refusal to press charges against Dylan Adams, a Minnesota state employee accused of deliberately vandalizing six Teslas—causing $20,000 in damage. Adams will face no jail time and even gets to keep his government job.  Jim notes the frustration of local police and the damage done when intentionally criminal behavior is swept under the rug due to politics.

Then, they dive into the allegations against outgoing World Economic Forum leader Klaus Schwab and his wife, who are accused of stealing substantial funds from the WEF and taking over a luxury property owned by the organization during COVID lockdowns.

Astronauts Safely Return, Will Schumer Survive as Leader? Walz Won’t Go Away

March 19, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Astronauts Safely Return, Will Schumer Survive as Leader? Walz Won’t Go Away” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they break down SpaceX’s dramatic rescue of American astronauts, Chuck Schumer’s struggle to survive mounting pressure from the left, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s relentless bid for political relevance.

First, they celebrate the safe return of astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams after their planned eight-day mission stretched into more than nine months aboard the International Space Station. They credit SpaceX and Elon Musk for achieving what Boeing and the federal government could not—while dismissing weak arguments that the astronauts weren’t truly stranded.

Next, they grab the popcorn as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer faces an uproar from progressives after helping Republicans break the filibuster to keep the government open. With at least one House Democrat calling for new leadership and many others still fuming, Schumer attempted damage control on The View—only to alienate business owners by mocking their complaints over high taxes.

Finally, they groan as Gov. Tim Walz keeps forcing himself into the political spotlight with speeches in multiple states. While he has every right to speak out, it’s now widely accepted that his addition to Kamala Harris’s ticket last year didn’t help, and there’s little indication he has any lasting influence in the party.

Black Friday Political Gifts for 2024

November 29, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Black Friday Political Gifts for 2024” on Spreaker.

As you head to the stores and look for gifts online on Black Friday, Jim and Greg are here to deliver helpful, practical gifts to several political figures.

First, Jim comes up with a very thoughtful gift for outgoing president Joe Biden that should serve him well longer after he leaves the White House. Meanwhile, Greg comes up with multiple ways to help Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz address some of his biggest problems on the campaign trail.

Next, they offer more election-related gifts. Jim tries to help one particular politician cope with a tough loss in this month’s election. Greg has a lot of people in mind for gifts that could help in future elections.

Finally, Jim has a gift that Donald Trump will truly love, much to the chagrin of one of his closest allies, while Greg offers a way to help some groups that have had a very difficult year.

Why Trump Won, Why Harris Lost, Other Winners and Losers

November 8, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Why Trump Won, Why Harris Lost, Other Winners and Losers” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for this special edition as they examine which factors helped propel Donald Trump’s return to the presidency, why Kamala Harris ended up losing more decisively than most observers could have imagined, and which other figures ended up as big winners or losers based on the results Tuesday night.

First, they examine Donald Trump’s stunning political comeback and why Americans chose to return him to the White House with a far more convincing victory than he had eight years ago. And while volumes will be written about this, Jim and Greg suggest Trump simply talked about what voters cared about most and in a way that made them trust him more to tackle the big problems.

Then, they go through a litany of issues that plagued the Harris campaign, from the way Dems shoved Joe Biden aside and nominated Harris without a primary to Kamala’s flip-flopping and inability to answer questions to her very bad choice of Tim Walz as her running mate.

Lastly, they consider who else comes out of this election season as big winners or losers. They aim a lot of their criticism at the shameless partisanship of the mainstream media, and the election results prove people no longer buy into their hysterical coverage. They also call out the elite Democrats like Barack Obama who orchestrated the ouster of Biden and spent the final weeks scolding people for not liking Harris enough. As for the winners, Greg points out another billionaire who had a very good Tuesday night and Jim gives credit to the man who might have reversed the momentum in favor of the Trump campaign.

GOP Governors Top Fiscal Ratings, Israeli Strike Plans Leaked Again, Social Security & Walz’s Mom

October 21, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “GOP Governors Top Fiscal Ratings, Israeli Strike Plans Leaked Again, Social Security & Walz’s Mom” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss how Republican governors do much better than Democrats on fiscal policy, the infuriating leak of Israel’s plans to strike Iran, and why Tim Walz is so reluctant to help his own mother.

First, they analyze the CATO Institute report card, which grades 48 U.S. governors on controlling spending and improving tax policies. Notably, all six governors receiving an ‘A’ were Republicans, while all six earning an ‘F’ were Democrats, including Tim Walz. Jim and Greg explore the reasons behind these results and highlight a few surprising names on the list.

Next, frustration mounts over the leak of classified Israeli military plans to strike Iran. This follows previous instances of U.S. officials being caught off guard by successful Israeli strikes in the Middle East. Jim explains how several key figures in the Biden administration are far too cozy with Iran and wonders why allies would share sensitive material with us in the future.

Finally, they address Tim Walz’s recent comments in North Carolina about his mother’s reliance on Social Security for basic needs. Jim and Greg explain how Social Security is intended as  supplement to your retirement plan and wonder why Walz allows his mother to live in such a precarious financial situation. This is at least the second time Walz has referred to leaving his elderly mom to fend for herself. He also made her go home and live by herself after heart surgery during COVID because he feared negative headlines if he brought her to his home.

Israel Permanently Sidelines Sinwar Georgia Shatters Voting Records, Kamala vs. Bret Baier

October 17, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Israel Permanently Sidelines Sinwar Georgia Shatters Voting Records, Kamala vs. Bret Baier” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three good martinis. In today’s episode, they discuss the death of Hamas military leader Yahya Sinwar, Georgia’s record-breaking early voting turnout, and Kamala Harris’s tough interview on Fox News.

First, they discuss the likely death of Hamas military leader Yahya Sinwar during an IDF operation in Gaza, which was later confirmed. Sinwar, the mastermind behind the October 7th terrorist attacks on Israel last year, had a notorious history of hatred against Israel and exploitation of people in Gaza. While Israel wasn’t specifically targeting Sinwar, in this operation Jim and Greg highlight Israel’s effectiveness in eliminating top terrorist leaders in recent months.

Next, they explore Georgia’s record-shattering early voting numbers, smashing Democratic narratives from 2021 that compared GOP-led voting reforms to Jim Crow-era laws. The left’s predictions of voter suppression have been thoroughly debunked by the sheer volume of early votes cast. Greg also points out that Republicans are actively encouraging early voting, reducing reliance on Election Day turnout.

Finally, they analyze Kamala Harris’s interview on Fox News with Bret Baier. Jim gives Harris some credit for appearing on the show, while praising Baier for pressing her with tough questions on the border crisis and Biden’s cognitive health. However, they ultimately conclude that Harris struggled to directly address these issues or effectively defend her record.

Vance Eviscerates ABC’s Border Bias, Harris Campaign Panics, Kamala vs. Columbus

October 14, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Vance Eviscerates ABC’s Border Bias, Harris Campaign Panics, Kamala vs. Columbus” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up two bad martinis and a crazy one to kick off the week. In today’s episode, they dive into JD Vance’s immigration debate with ABC News, the growing panic within the Harris campaign, and the left’s relentless attacks on Columbus and European history.

First, they break down JD Vance’s takedown of ABC News host Martha Raddatz during Sunday’s interview. Raddatz downplayed the growing threat of Venezuelan gangs in Colorado by claiming they were only controlling a “handful” of apartment complexes. Vance shot back, dismantling the biased premise of her question and revealing the media’s flawed narrative on immigration.

Next, they explore why Democrats are increasingly panicked about Kamala Harris’s campaign just weeks before the election. Jim explains why there’s good reason for the high anxiety on the left and Greg wonders whether voters are realizing their first impressions of Harris – and not the DNC depiction of her – were correct all along.

Finally, they mark Columbus Day, noting that the left now openly despises Columbus and all European colonists. Even Kamala Harris was saying the same thing not that long ago. They explain why Columbus is clearly worth celebrating and how drastically different the left’s rhetoric is on issues like this when we are close to an election.

Is Biden Undermining Harris? Kamala Whiffs Again, Walz Wants to Scrap Electoral College

October 9, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Is Biden Undermining Harris? Kamala Whiffs Again, Walz Wants to Scrap Electoral College” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss whether President Biden is deliberately damaging the Kamala Harris campaign, Harris doing even worse in a second opportunity to distance herself from Biden’s record, and Tim Walz wanting to abolish the Electoral College.

First, they appreciate Biden defending the hurricane preparations by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ahead of Hurricane Milton after Vice President Harris suggested DeSantis didn’t take her calls over politics. But they also wonder whether Biden is subtly or even subconsciously undermining Harris after being shoved aside by his party for a second term.

Next, they examine Harris’s struggles in responding to questions about her differences from Biden’s policies. After her lackluster response on “The View,” she stumbles again on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” avoiding a simple question with her usual “word salad.” Why is she so bad at answering a simple question?

Finally, Jim and Greg analyze the fallout from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s comments at a California fundraiser where he advocated for abolishing the Electoral College in favor of a national popular vote. The Harris campaign insists this is not her position, but it is the overwhelming position on the left. So which party is going to protect our norms, laws, and traditions again?

Improving GOP Senate Outlook, Walz’s COVID Catastrophe, Schumer Derelict on Spending

September 24, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Improving GOP Senate Outlook, Walz’s COVID Catastrophe, Schumer Derelict on Spending” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they look at how the GOP’s odds for a U.S. Senate majority seem to be improving, how Tim Walz was a massive failure on COVID deaths in nursing homes and much more, and how Chuck Schumer utterly failed to do his most important job – but will still emerge as a winner.

First, they welcome a new Scott Rasmussen poll (different than Rasmussen Reports) that shows Montana Republican Senate candidate Tim Sheehy with a growing lead over incumbent Democrat Jon Tester. And several other races are inching further in the direction of Republicans. They also rail against the media for constantly labeling Democrats like Pennsylvania’s Bob Casey and Virginia’s Tim Kaine as “moderates” even though they vote along with the Biden administration’s position almost all the time.

Next, they discuss reporting that shows Minnesota’s nursing home death rate from COVID was the worst in the nation under Tim Walz, due in large part to his demand that those facilities accept COVID patients after they left the hospital. Jim points out that mainstream media seem thoroughly uninterested in Walz’s actual record as governor and are much more content to lazily play into the image of him as a regular guy.

Finally, they groan as Congress appears on the verge of another continuing resolution to keep the government open. But they also highlight Speaker Mike Johnson’s point that the House passed 12 separate appropriations bills in committee – also known as regular order – and the Senate ignored the House legislation and passed no spending bills on its own. So Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer didn’t do anything to fulfill the most important function of the legislative branch.
