Obama’s Big Gamble

September 25, 2009 by GregC

More Government Indoctrination – This Time on Climate Change

September 25, 2009 by GregC

Fresh off the back-to-school controversy and the New Jersey kids being taught songs worshiping President Obama, here comes the Department of Energy on a mission to ‘educate’ kids in 6,000 schools on the issue of climate change.  That’s because Energy Secretary Steven Chu says the American public is acting like teenagers because we don’t obey the government when it comes to their directives on how we should be fighting climate change.  So is this indoctrination or are conservatives just getting bent out of shape?  We ask Connie Mackey, who served as director of student correspondence for President Reagan.

‘Thank God for Israel’

September 24, 2009 by GregC

Former Clinton administration official Larry Haas says if Israel strikes Iran’s nuclear facilities, most of the international community will express public outrage.  However, he says a recent summit in London proved to him that leaders throughout the world – even in the Middle East – will privately breathe a major sigh of relief that the world’s top sponsor of terrorism does not have an active nuclear weapons program.  Will Israel have to strike or does diplomacy have a chance?  And what does Haas say about former Carter administration official Zibignew Brzezinski’s suggestion that the U.S. should stop an Israeli strike – even to the point of shooting down Israeli planes?

Baucus Bill Deadly for Unborn, Elderly

September 24, 2009 by GregC

The ‘compromise’ health care legislation from Sen. Max Baucus provides large sums of money to pay for elective abortions through government subsidies.  Oh, but that’s not all.  The National Right to Life Committee says the Baucus bill will greatly endanger America’s seniors.  Does Baucus admit his bill uses your tax dollars to pay for abortions?  How would his plan result in poorer health care for the elderly?  We ask Douglas Johnson, legislative director at the National Right to Life Committee.

More Proof of Government Indoctrinating Kids?

September 24, 2009 by GregC

Just two weeks after President Obama’s back-to-school controversy, the issue of indoctrinating America’s school kids is back in the headlines.  This time it’s Energy Secretary Steven Chu in the spotlight.  He says the American public is acting like teenagers because we don’t follow the government’s orders for helping to fight climate change.  So the Department of Energy is heading to 6,000 schools to make sure kids know all about climate change and how to fight it.  Is this a legitimate civic function or is the Obama administration cramming a political and economic agenda down the throats of kids?  We ask Connie Mackey, former director of student correspondence for President Reagan.

September 24, 2009 by GregC

Steve King slams House Democrats for aggressively pushing legislation trying to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act.  Why do Dems want to change the law?  What has been the result of gay marriage in King’s home state of Iowa?  Why does does he say the preservation of traditional marriage alone is indispensible to America’s future?  And how does he see this as part of a larger political agenda?

‘Completely Inaccurate’

September 22, 2009 by GregC

President Obama made a push for the international community to commit to the fight against what Obama believes is man-made climate change.  But is Obama right about a consensus on the scientific evidence?  Is he right that climate change is already harming third world nations?  What agenda are Obama and others trying to pursue at the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen?  We get expert insight from renowned climatologist Dr. Tim Ball, who says Obama’s ‘facts’ are all wrong and is part of a global con job designed to give governments more and more power.
