On Wednesday night, President Obama said that no federal dollars would pay for abortions under his health care plan. But is that true? What does the bill actually say? What do Democrats mean when they say only private funds would pay for abortions? Are they correct when they say current bans on taxpayer-funded abortions would still apply if the bill becomes law? And if there would be no tax dollars being used to pay for abortions, why did Congressional Democrats reject GOP attempts to write that into the bill?
