Earlier this year, Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was removed from power by constitutional means for trying to usurp power and stay in office longer than permitted by law. President Obama has sided with Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez in demanding that Zelaya be put back in power. What message does this send to other Latin American democracies? Why is this position getting almost no media attention?
