New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020. De Blasio’s bid appears to be a longshot as he would be the first president to ever rise directly from city hall to White House. New Yorkers meanwhile do not appear too excited about their mayor criss-crossing the country to campaign for president. Matt Fisher reports.
