Progress Against COVID, De Blasio’s Latest Disaster, Suspend the Election?

April 29, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Progress Against COVID, De Blasio’s Latest Disaster, Suspend the Election?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome encouraging news about COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and treatments that has Wall Street feeling bullish and suggesting that the Chinese communists were wrong again. They also hammer New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for breaking up the well-attended funeral of a rabbi in Brooklyn and warning that if it happens again there will be summons or arrests. And they dig into a new poll suggesting a majority of Americans would be inclined to suspend the November elections if coronavirus is still a major concern.

Devastating Debt, Trump’s Disloyalty’ Problem, Dr. Biden’s Blunder

August 21, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “Devastating Debt, Trump’s Disloyalty’ Problem, Dr. Biden’s Blunder” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America have no good martinis today. They wince as the national deficit creeps closer to $1 trillion again and lament that neither party has any intention of seriously addressing the problem before disaster strikes next decade. They also cringe as President Trump rightly slams Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and other far left lawmakers for pushing the anti-Semitic BDS movement but then says says any Jews who vote for Democrats are being disloyal. And they get a kick out of Jill Biden telling Democrats that her husband might not be the best candidate but voters should get on board because he has the best chance to beat Trump.

Horror in Pittsburgh, Elusive Young Voters, Twitter Solves Internet Hate

October 29, 2018 by GregC

Listen to “Horror in Pittsburgh, Elusive Young Voters, Twitter Solves Internet Hate” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America recoil in horror as an avowed neo-Nazi opens fire in a Pittsburgh-area synagogue, killing eleven people and wounding others because he thought all Jews needed to die.  They also discuss the liberal insistence that this is the year young voters really show up at the polls, but early voting does not suggest that’s happening.  And they roll their eyes as Twitter considers scrapping the “like” button to stop hateful messages from going viral.  They also react in very different ways following the Bears’ win over the Jets on Sunday.

Ocasio-Cortez & Dem Division, Jews on a List? Trump’s ‘Clarification’

July 18, 2018 by GregC

Listen to “Ocasio-Cortez & Dem Division, Jews on a List? Trump’s ‘Clarification'” on Spreaker.
Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are more than happy to center another good martini around avowed democratic socialist and New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, this time for sowing dissension among Democrats for her public criticism of Rep. Joe Crowley, whom she defeated in the primary. They also shudder as a state official in Austria wants all observant Jews to register with the government if they want kosher meats. And they shake their heads as President Trump’s clarification of his comments in Finland is less than credible.

Samantha’s Power Play, Kim’s Latest Craziness, Plame’s Anti-Semitism

September 22, 2017 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are glad to see former UN Ambassador Samantha Power exposed for egregious “unmasking” of Americans detected on foreign surveillance, including a huge number just prior to President Trump’s inauguration.  They also cast a skeptical eye upon North Korea’s threat to detonate a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean, but note the troubling impact it would have on the area and the prospects for war.  And they express disgust as former CIA operative and liberal media darling Valerie Plame tweets out a story blaming “America’s Jews” for America’s Wars and suggesting American Jews recuse themselves from Middle East policy and be identified as Jews when speaking on television.  They also roll their eyes at her pathetic explanation and wonder how her attitude played into her controversy at the outset of the Iraq War.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are pleased to see millennials very discouraged by the 2016 campaign and don’t blame them one bit.  We also discuss Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte saying he’s going to wipe out drug dealers and users the way Hitler wiped out the Jews.  And we analyze Donald Trump’s late-night Twitter rant over Alicia Machado.
