U.S. Has Top Economy, Heitkamp’s Horrible Idea, Beto’s Bogus Story

October 17, 2018 by GregC

Listen to “America on Top, Heitkamp’s Horrible Idea, Beto’s Bogus Story” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America celebrate the United States being named the world’s top economy for the first time since the financial crisis.  They also shudder as North Dakota Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp tries to attack her opponent by running an ad listing women who are assault victims. But several of the women were never asked if their names could be used, some of them were never assaulted say the publicity has “ruined their lives.”  And they get a kick out of Texas Democratic Senate hopeful Beto O’Rourke saying his “lifelong Republican” mom is voting for him, but a check of voting records shows something very different.  They also discuss why the University of Michigan has one too many football fans.

Cramer’s Great Ad, Facebook Censors Prager U, London’s Pathetic Terrorism Response

August 20, 2018 by GregC

Listen to “Cramer’s Great Ad, Facebook Censors Prager, London’s Pathetic Terrorism Response” on Spreaker.

Jim is back!  Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud North Dakota Rep. Kevin Cramer for his powerful ad slamming Sen. Heidi Heitkamp for supporting sanctuary cities and for doing so with the right tone.  They also hammer Facebook for censoring numerous Prager U videos and labeling them “hate speech” when there’s nothing hateful about them, and wonder whether Facebook’s monitors have no idea what conservatism is or whether they just give in to the liberal mob.  And they shake their heads in disgust after London Mayor Sadiq Khan responds to a vehicular terrorist attack by wanting to ban vehicles in that part of the city.

McCabe Referred for Prosecution, Pompeo to be Confirmed, Cuomo’s PC Delusion

April 20, 2018 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America enjoy two good martinis today, starting with the Justice Department referring former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe for criminal prosecution after the inspector general accused McCabe of “lacking candor” under oath four times.  They also applaud North Dakota Democrat Heidi Heitkamp for backing the nomination of Mike Pompeo for secretary of state.  It may be an election year ploy, but it’s still the right decision.  And they shake their heads as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo calls himself an undocumented immigrant who was raised by poor immigrants, none of which is true.  It’s reminiscent of Cuomo declaring himself black, Muslim, Jewish, gay, and a woman not long ago while also stating there is no room for pro-life, pro-gun, or pro-traditional marriage conservatives in New York.

Pence Hammers Heitkamp, Heidi’s Lame Abortion & Guns Parallel, Wolff vs. Truth

March 28, 2018 by GregC

Alexandra DeSanctis of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America cheer Vice President Pence for going to North Dakota and hammering Sen. Heidi Heitkamp for her liberal votes on health care, taxes, abortion, energy and more – in a sign the Republicans are getting on message early in the states with the best pickup opportunities.  They also take aim at Heitkamp’s attempt to look strong on the second amendment after the senator makes a pathetic attempt to liken passion for gun rights similar to passion for abortion rights.  And they slam “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff, who is now admitting he is an observer rather than a journalist and says his job “has nothing to do with the truth.”

Cramer Runs for Senate, Cluelessness Rampant in Gun Debate, Farrow Exposes Trump

February 16, 2018 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America welcome the news that Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer will run for the U.S. Senate in North Dakota, and even though he’s not as conservative as we might want him to be, by all accounts Cramer gives the GOP its best chance to defeat Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp.  Jim also details his frustration with the constant demand for a national conversation on gun laws when so many gun control activists have little grasp of the facts and little idea what the existing laws are.  And they react to Ronan Farrow’s column detailing Donald Trump’s efforts to carry on a months-long affair and keep it a secret, all while he was married to Melania and just months after their son was born.
