House Hearings Expose Infuriating Truths on COVID, Afghanistan

March 9, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “House Hearings Expose Infuriating Truth on COVID, Afghanistan” on Spreaker.

You might need something stronger than a martini as Jim and Greg dig into three big stories today. First, they respond to the congressional testimony of former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield, who said our top officials knew from the start that COVID likely came from a lab leak and then knowingly pushed a false narrative that the virus naturally occurred. And the maddening truth doesn’t stop there. Then they tackle the gut-wrenching testimony of a U.S. Marine Corps sniper stationed at Abbey Gate on the day of the terrorist attack during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews says he and others had the bomber spotted and were ready to take him out but they never had permission to fire. And his frustration grew even more when no one in our government wanted to hear his story. Finally, Jim dissects California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s condemnation of Walgreen’s for refusing to sell abortion-inducing drugs in states where the retailer might get sued. Jim explains how Newsom frequently ignores the most basic responsibilities of governing and how he tries to distract his constituents from his terrible record.

House GOP Chaos, Media Bury Times Square Attack, Short-Sighted Climate Logic

January 3, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “House GOP Chaos, Media Bury Times Square Attack, Short-Sighted Climate Logic” on Spreaker.

Happy New Year! Jim and Greg are back to their usual format but kick off the year with three crazy martinis after discussing the cardiac arrest of Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin Monday night. They dig into the chaos within the House GOP conference as Kevin McCarthy fails to win enough votes to become Speaker of the House on the first ballot. They also wince as the Islamic extremist who attacked police with a machete in Times Square on New Year’s Eve was on the FBI’s radar. And they hammer the media for burying the story once the motive was known. Finally, they roll their eyes as a New York Times column argues people need to be looking for shorter mates so they can have shorter children who will be less of a strain on our planet.

Afghanistan Terrorist Attacks

August 26, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Afghanistan Terrorist Attacks” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they assess the news of two terrorist attacks in Kabul, one at the Abbey Gate by the airport and one at the nearby Baron Hotel.  As they recorded, there were reports of three U.S. Marine casualties.  Since then, we know of numerous deaths and injuries among our heroes in the Armed Forces. They also react to the Taliban proving they haven’t changed a bit as their spokesman says there is no evidence that Osama bin Laden was behind the 9/11 terror attacks. And they bang their heads on the table at the news the Taliban could very well end up on the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

June 21, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Chinese Whistleblower, Senator “Whiteclub,” Florida Gay Parade Fiasco” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg investigate a recent report of a high-level Chinese defector who allegedly has “damaging information” on many American intelligence and government officials. Lastly, they lament that Democrats are calling a tragic car accident at a gay parade in Florida a “terrorist attack.”

Court Blocks Drilling Ban, Biden’s Iran Blunder, Newsom Can’t Let Go

June 16, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Court Blocks Drilling Ban, Biden’s Iran Blunder, Newsom Can’t Let Go” on Spreaker.

Greg and guest host Rob Long celebrate a federal court in Louisiana ending President Biden’s oil and gas lease ban on federal land. They also cringe as the Biden administration considers lifting sanctions on top Iranian institutions which finance terrorism. Lastly, they roll their eyes at California Gov. Gavin Newsom for failing to relinquish his state of emergency powers despite COVID-19 numbers being at all time lows in his state.

Equity Agenda Meets Reality, Dems Pressure Cable Providers, Garland & Terrorism

February 23, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Equity Agenda Meets Reality, Dems Pressure Cable Providers, Garland & Terrorism” on Spreaker.

Chad Benson is in for Jim today. Chad and Greg examine new research from the Federal Reserve showing the Biden racial equity agenda would actually make the wealth divide much greater. They also react to a pair of House Dems trying to get cable TV providers to cut ties with Fox News, OANN, and Newsmax. And they shake their heads as Merrick Garland draws a peculiar line between what is domestic terrorism and what is not.

Remembering 9/11, Voter Registration Surge, Mueller Team Malfeasance, Teleprompter Tantrum

September 11, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Remembering 9/11, Voter Registration Surge, Mueller Team Malfeasance, Teleprompter Tantrum” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for a special 9/11 anniversary edition of the podcast. They both share their indelible memories of that horrific day and why it is vital for us to remember the evil perpetrated against us and how the very best of America rose to the occasion. Then they dive into the three martinis of the day, starting with a GOP voter registration surge in Pennsylvania. They also fume as 31 phones connected to the Mueller special counsel team were wiped clean before the Justice Department could examine them. And they react to the Biden campaign spokesman who was outraged that he would be asked if Joe Biden uses a teleprompter during interviews and other events – but never answered the question.
