House Censures Rep. Tlaib, GOP’s Election Losses, Can Republicans Get Back to Winning?

November 8, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “House Censures Rep. Tlaib, GOP’s Election Losses, Can Republicans Get Back to Winning?” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the House of Representatives delivering a bipartisan censure to Michigan Rep, Rashida Tlaib for her brazen lies about the Gaza hospital bombing and her overt gaslighting about the true meaning of “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

They also sigh as they track disappointing election results in Kentucky, Virginia, and Ohio. They also offer reasons for the GOP’s losses, where the politics go next on abortion, and much more. Plus, they try to find some silver linings.

Finally, they wonder when the Republican Party will have some tough discussions about the path forward and whether any of that will come up in tonight’s GOP presidential debate.

NYT Poll Has Dems Trying to Shove Biden, Obama Says We’re All ‘Complicit’ in Middle East Mess, Rep. Tlaib’s ‘River to the Sea’ Gaslighting

November 6, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “NYT Poll Has Dems Trying to Shove Biden, Obama Says We’re All ‘Complicit’ in Middle East Mess, Rep. Tlaib’s ‘River to the Sea’ Gaslighting” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they respond to a new New York Times/Siena College showing Donald Trump leading President Biden in five of six swing states, and the calls from Democrats for Biden not to run next year are growing louder. But will he? Who would replace him? And this poll most damaging to Republican presidential candidates claiming that Donald Trump is unelectable?

They also slam former President Barack Obama for suggesting “all of us are complicit” for the ongoing mess in the Middle East. Jim outlines many of Obama’s failed approach to the Middle East that coddled Iran and put far more pressure on Israel than the people who don’t want Israel to exist.

Finally, they shred Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib for trying to claim that the chant “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is about “peaceful coexistence” and not a call for violence and genocide.

Mortgage Rate Agony, Becerra Targets the Constitution, Tlaib’s Vile Gaslighting

October 19, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Mortgage Rate Agony, Becerra Targets the Constitution, Tlaib’s Vile Gaslighting” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three lousy martinis. First, they shudder as 30-year mortgage interest rates hit eight percent, meaning monthly payments on a $400,000 home are now $1,000 more expensive per month than they were just two years ago. They also hammer Health and Human Services Sec. Xavier Becerra for pushing for a “universal system of public health” even though he admits the Constitution doesn’t allow it. He thinks it’s bad that different states could set different policies during the COVID pandemic and he wants more power over your life to address climate change. Then, they slam Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib for repeating the debunked Hamas propaganda about Israel bombing a hospital in Gaza. Finally, on a more positive note, they observe an important milestone and make an announcement about the next couple of weeks.

Evil Hamas Terrorism, Biden Administration Weakness, Typical Anti-Israel Responses

October 9, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Evil Hamas Terrorism, Biden Administration Weakness, Typical Anti-Israel Responses” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg devote today’s podcast to three critical aspects of the horrific terrorist attacks perpetrated in Israel by Hamas over the weekend the worst mass murder of Jews since World War II. First, they chronicle the unconscionable acts of terrorism, torture, rape, and abduction by Hamas – and how the only proper description of the actions is pure evil.

Then they walk through the Biden’s administration’s refusal to confirm Iran was intimately involved in the planning of the attacks even after Hamas and others admit that’s exactly what happened. They also detail how weakness projected by the Biden administration in Afghanistan and in its constant groveling before Tehran to strike a new nuclear agreement likely emboldened Iran.

But they also note that there will likely be significant political consequences in Israel over the failure to prevent or detect the attacks.

Finally, they fume over the very predictable responses from some politicians, media figures, and activists blaming Israel for the carnage or at least creating a moral equivalence between the terrorism and the Israeli military response.

Pelosi Says No Gloating, Dems’ Amazing Plan B, Obama Wants Women Leaders

December 18, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “Pelosi Says No Gloating, Dems’ Amazing Plan B, Obama Wants Women Leaders” on Spreaker.

It’s impeachment day and Jim and Greg aren’t exactly riveted to the debate when the outcome was predetermined long ago.  But join them as they take aim at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi telling House Democrats not to gloat once the final impeachment votes are taken.  They also get a good laugh at Democrats suggesting the House not send impeachment articles to the Senate until Republicans agree to their demands for witnesses, wondering where the downside could possibly be for Republicans in this strategy.  And they have some choice thoughts as Barack Obama openly wishes that women could lead everywhere in the world for two years because everything would supposedly be better.

Regulatory Rollback, Dem Funding Flop, Impeachment Obsession

January 4, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “Regulatory Rollback, Dem Funding Flop, Impeachment Obsession” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud the Trump administration for keeping its word to aggressively roll back burdensome government regulations.  They also roll their eyes as House Democrats pass a bill to end the partial government shutdown that has zero chance of becoming law.  And they react to new Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib admitting, through coarse language, that she came to Washington to impeach President Trump.
