Kamala Plots Her Comeback, Russia & the DHL Disaster, Clintons Still Can’t Accept 2016

November 26, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Kamala Plots Her Comeback, Russia & the DHL Disaster, Clintons Still Can’t Accept 2016” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg on 3 Martini Lunch as they unpack Kamala Harris’s plans for a political comeback, heightened tensions with Russia following a cargo plane crash, and Bill Clinton’s tiresome excuses for Hillary’s 2016 loss.

First, they analyze reports that Kamala Harris is eyeing a 2026 California gubernatorial run or another presidential bid in 2028. Jim highlights the crowded field of Democrats for governor and skepticism from national Democrats after Harris’s underwhelming 2024 performance.

Next, they note the crash of a DHL cargo jet in Lithuania. The disaster comes just a few weeks after intelligence officials revealed concerns that Russia was plotting to attack passenger planes and was experimenting with incendiary devices on cargo planes in preparation. Jim suggests this is Putin’s way of escalating tensions during a presidential transition.

Finally, they get a kick out of Bill Clinton insisting that the only reason Trump beat Hillary eight years ago was because of then-FBI Director Jim Comey and the lingering Hillary Clinton email investigation. Jim also outlines the depths of Bill’s hypocrisy when it comes to Trump and explains why the Clintons will never get over losing in 2016.

How DNC Emails & Trump Himself Fueled Collusion Narrative – Ball of Collusion, Part 3

August 28, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “How DNC Emails & Trump Himself Fueled Collusion Narrative – Ball of Collusion, Part 3” on Spreaker.

In the first two portions of our interview with “Ball of Collusion” author and former Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew C. McCarthy, he and Greg Corombos discuss the origins of the probe and why Special Counsel Robert Mueller waited two years to issue a report despite there being no evidence of conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

In our new podcast, McCarthy details the meandering path of the supposed genesis of the investigation, including the various human sources used to incriminate Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.  The operatives were later identified as figures such as Alexander Downer, Stefan Halper, and Joseph Mifsud.

“Papadopoulos meets this shady, Maltese professor  known as Joseph Mifsud, who I think is probably the most interesting figure in this whole narrative.  And that’s saying something, because there’s some real winners in this narrative,” said McCarthy.

Also in this podcast, McCarthy explains how the collusion narrative was falling apart from a lack of evidence before it really even got started in the summer of 2016.  But it was surprisingly revived by the hacking of DNC emails and Donald Trump’s own behavior.

McCabe in Trouble, Trump’s Tariffs, Schumer Plays the Race Card

March 2, 2018 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are glad to see the inspector general at the Justice Department taking his job seriously as reports surface that his forthcoming report will be highly critical of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.  While they sympathize with President Trump’s desire to fix trade imbalances, they fear new steel and aluminum tariffs will have a negative impact on American consumers and the economy.  And they slam Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for announcing his opposition to a judicial nominee because the nominee is white and President Obama’s previous nominees were black.

Dems Feel Heat on Shutdown, FBI Loses Key Emails, Paul Attacker’s Bogus Reason

January 22, 2018 by GregC

Chatting before the much-anticipated Senate vote to end the government shutdown, Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are glad to see Democrats feeling the heat on refusing to fund the government and taking some steps to get things fully up and running, but they also warn listeners what Democrats and some Republicans really want in an immigration bill to go along with reopening the government.  They also don’t believe the FBI’s explanation that it somehow lost five critical months worth of text messages from Peter Strzok, the agent fired form the Mueller special counsel team and bragged about an “insurance policy” against a Trump victory.  And they also call BS on the explanation from Sen. Rand Paul’s neighbor for attacking Paul, namely that the senator was assaulted from behind and had five ribs broken because he was stacking brush close to their shared property line.

DACA’s Last Days? Comey Cleared Hillary Early, Catholic School Capitulation

September 1, 2017 by GregC

Alexandra DeSanctis of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America encourage President Trump to scrap President Obama’s unconstitutional and unilateral program allowing illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children, noting the issue ought to be addressed by Congress.  They also slam former FBI Director James Comey upon the revelation that he decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton in her email investigation long before the investigation was done or key witnesses were interviewed.  And they roll their eyes as a Catholic school in California removes most of its statues, including ones of Jesus and Mary, in an effort to be more inclusive and “forward-looking.”

Three Martini Lunch 10/31/16

October 31, 2016 by GregC

http://dateline.radioamerica.org/podcast/3-Martini-Lunch-10-31-16.mp3

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America discuss three crazy aspects of the FBI announcing it is investigating new emails in connection with the Hillary Clinton case.  They marvel at the Democrats demonizing James Comey just three months after extolling him as the paragon of virtue.  They shake their heads as Huma Abedin insists she has no idea what is in her 650,000 emails.  And they react to longtime Clinton ally Doug Schoen saying as of now he can no longer support Hillary Clinton.
