Pompeo & Youngkin Pass, Erasing the Age of Consent, Chicago Mayhem

April 17, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Pompeo & Youngkin Pass, Erasing the Age of Consent, Chicago Mayhem” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they appreciate both former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin for recognizing reality and taking a pass on the 2024 presidential campaign. They think highly of both men and would not be surprised or unhappy to see either of them run another time but there was no path this time around. They also recoil as a horrific new report from multiple United Nations agencies advocates decriminalizing any sexual activity, including sexual relations between adults and minors, as long as it is “consensual”. Finally, they note the mayhem caused by scores of teenagers in downtown Chicago Saturday night and the response from incoming Mayor Brandon Johnson, who won’t condone the violence but also won’t “demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities.”

December 20, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Youngkin’s Ambitious Agenda, SCOTUS Stays Title 42, Christmas Die Hards” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss only good things today! First, Jim describes his wide-ranging interview with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin about his plans for the coming year, what issues matter most, and whether he’s thinking about running for president. They also welcome the Supreme Court issuing a temporary stay that keeps the “Remain in Mexico” policy in place until a formal decision is in place. Finally, they dive into why “Die Hard” is obviously a Christmas movie and share other thoughts about what makes it such a great film.

Manchin Still Says No, McAuliffe’s Relentless Lying, Mandate Closes NYC Fire Stations

November 2, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Manchin Still Says No, McAuliffe’s Relentless Lying, Mandate Closes NYC Fire Stations” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the strongest public comments yet from Sen. Joe Manchin about why he cannot yet support the massive reconciliation bill. They also chronicle Terry McAuliffe’s blatant lies in the closing days of the campaign, from falsely accusing Glenn Youngkin of being anti-vaccine to grossly inflating number of kids hospitalized with COVID. And they fume as more than two dozen New York City firehouses went out of service due to first responders being unvaccinated.

McAuliffe’s Latest Mistakes, Dems vs. Reality on Energy, Dems Closing in on a Deal

October 20, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “McAuliffe’s Latest Mistakes, Dems vs. Reality on Energy, Dems Closing in on a Deal” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they enjoy watching Terry McAuliffe make mistake after mistake in the homestretch of the Virginia governor’s race. They also welcome a Wall Street Journal report on the simple reality that only fossil fuels can meet our energy needs in terms of abundance and cost but fume that Democrats insist on pursuing policies that are not realistic and are sending prices much higher. And they they wince as reports suggest Democrats appear to be closing in on a consensus for a $2 trillion spending binge on far left priorities.
