They also wonder why Trump HHS Secretary Tom Price was forced to resign for taking private jets at taxpayer expense but Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg can do it and almost no one cares.  Finally, they sigh as the New York Times fawns over Pennsylvania Senator-Elect John Fetterman for his fashion statement of hooded sweatshirts and cargo shorts.

Taxpayer-Funded Reporters? Dem Spending Lies, Beto vs. Biden on the Border

September 27, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Taxpayer-Funded Reporters? Dem Spending Lies, Beto vs. Biden on the Border” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for three crazy martinis today! First, they cringe at the idea of taxpayers footing the bill for up to $50,000 in salaries for journalists in the new spending bill pushed by Democrats. They also fire away at President Biden and other lefties for trying to convince the public that their multi-trillion spending binge won’t add anything to the deficit. And they get a kick out of Beto O’Rourke trying to criticize Biden for being too tough at the border.

Weinstein Charged, New Sonic Attack on Diplomats, McCabe’s Secret $70,000 Table

May 25, 2018 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are glad to see disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein charged for rape but they already see signs that Weinstein plans to portray himself as the victim.  They also react to new reports of U.S. diplomats suffering from brain injury due to a possible sonic attack, this time in China.  And they unload on former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for spending $70,000 on a conference table and trying to hide it from lawmakers by redacting the purchase from a report to Congress.

U.S. Hammers Russia, Carson’s Big Spending, Bowling Ball Test

March 15, 2018 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud the Trump administration for slapping sanctions on Russia and salute UN Ambassador Nikki Haley for calling out Russia’s chemical weapons attack against a Kremlin critic in Great Britain.  They also chew out Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson for not keeping a better watch over the effort to spend more than $31,000 on a dining set and for possibly misleading the public about it.  And they roll their eyes as President Trump tells GOP donors that Japan engages in unfair trading practices by dropping bowling balls on the hoods of U.S. imports and deeming them unfit for sale in Japan.

Corker’s Lame Legacy, Price is Wrong, Trump’s Alabama Two-Step

September 27, 2017 by GregC

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America react to Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker deciding not to seek re-election by remembering his most significant moment in office was failing to stand up for the Senate’s power to consider treaties and instead greased the skids for President Obama to enact the Iran nuclear deal without any effective protest from the Republican majority.  They also slam Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price for using private planes on at least two dozen occasions to the tune of $400,000 in taxpayer money.  And they weigh in on the results of the Republican U.S. Senate run-off in Alabama and President Trump subsequently deleting tweets in support of Luther Strange after it was clear Roy Moore had won.
