Israel Targets Iranian Nukes, How Trump is Navigating Israel-Iran, Sen. Padilla’s PR Stunt

June 13, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Israel Targets Iranian Nukes, How Trump is Navigating Israel-Iran, Sen. Padilla’s PR Stunt” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for Friday’s 3 Martini Lunch as they assess Israel’s bold strikes on Iran’s nuclear program and how President Trump and the U.S. are navigating this conflict. They also weigh in on the controversy surrounding California Sen. Alex Padilla being handcuffed after interrupting a Homeland Security press conference in Los Angeles.

First, they lay out what we know about Israel’s attacks against Iranian nuclear sites, air defenses, and top military personnel. Jim points out that every president since George W. Bush has stated Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and the Israelis clearly believe they could not wait any longer. They also marvel at the depths which the Mossad infiltrated Iran to help carry out the attacks.

Next, they examine the U.S. response to the strikes. While initial American statements distanced the U.S. from involvement, President Trump voiced strong support for Israel and warned Iran to return to nuclear negotiations. However, Iran now claims it is abandoning those talks altogether.

Finally, they break down the confrontation between DHS Sec. Kristi Noem and California Sen. Alex Padilla. Sen. Padilla interrupted Noem to shout questions. It was only after Secret Service and FBI began restraining him that Padilla identified himself as a U.S. senator. He was eventually handcuffed but quickly released when his identity was confirmed. Jim and Greg agree that Padilla’s approach shows he wanted to create a spectacle. Jim also marvels that no one – even in LA – seemed to know what Sen. Padilla looks like.

More Biden Revelations, Social Security for Illegals? Trump Targets Drug Costs, RFK’s Curious Swim

May 13, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “More Biden Revelations, Social Security for Illegals? Trump Targets Drug Costs, RFK’s Curious Swim” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they consider the latest revelations in the Biden coverup, the Department of Homeland Security investigating whether officials in California funneled Social Security benefits to illegals, President Trump’s executive order demanding huge drops in prescription drug prices, and Health and Human Services Sec. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s controversial weekend swim.

First, they offer a quick reaction to the revelation that Joe Biden’s inner circle was hiding his cognitive decline – even from his own staff. They also rebuff Kamala Harris campaign strategist David Plouffe, who largely blames Biden for Kamala’s loss.

Then it’s on to the martinis, beginning with a new Department of Homeland Security investigation into whether Los Angeles County officials provided federal benefits, including Social Security, to people in the country illegally through California’s Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants. Jim also questions why California maintains a program that gives taxpayer money to non-citizens, including illegal immigrants.

Next, they assess President Trump’s new executive order directing drug companies to slash prescription prices by 50–80 percent for U.S. consumers. While they agree Americans pay far more than people in other countries, they warn that government-mandated price ceilings could lead to drug shortages. Jim and Greg then consider some more market-friendly ways to bring these costs down. Finally, they scratch their heads at the news that Health and Human Services Sec. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. went swimming with his grandkids in Washington’s Rock Creek this past weekend, since authorities have long warned that the creek’s bacteria levels make it unsafe for people or pets to enter the water.

Zuckerberg’s Free Speech Shift, GOP’s Smart Legislative Start, The Insane UK Rape Scandal

January 7, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Zuckerberg’s Free Speech Shift, GOP’s Smart Legislative Start, The Insane UK Rape Scandal” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s newfound support for free speech, congressional Republicans picking a smart issue to begin their legislative agenda, and the disturbing UK rape gang scandal that has rocked the country for decades.

First, Jim and Greg cautiously explore Meta Chairman and CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s shift on free speech. Zuckerberg admitted that Facebook and his other platforms have been biased in censoring political content. He now promises changes, including Community Notes for controversial posts similar to X. Is this a genuine change of heart, or is Zuckerberg simply adapting to the current political climate?

Next, they applaud Republicans in the House and Senate for kicking off their legislative agenda with the Laken Riley Act, which requires the Department of Homeland Security to arrest (and likely deport) people in the country illegally if they commit crimes like burglary and larceny. It’s also backed by Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman. And since our recording, it passed the House of Representatives.

Finally, Jim and Greg tackle the explosive story of the UK rape gang scandal. They express their outrage over how police, prosecutors, politicians, and the media in Great Britain failed to act swiftly in dealing with allegations of horrific abuse committed by mostly Muslim immigrants against British children. They explain why this issue is making headlines again and why this is a huge problem for the current government in the UK. Parental discretion advised for this topic.

Single-Family Fiction, Trump Rejects Future Debate, ‘Appalling’ Secret Service Review

September 13, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Single-Family Fiction, Trump Rejects Future Debate, ‘Appalling’ Secret Service Review” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they close the week with an important correction from Thursday’s edition,  strong thoughts on Trump’s rejection of another debate and the questionable characters in his inner circle, and startling indications that the performance of the Secret Service on the day of the Trump assassination attempt was even worse than we thought.

First, they apologize for basing their Thursday story about a Maryland county considering major zoning changes that allegedly threatened existing and future single-family homes on an erroneous story from a local ABC news station. They explain what the proposed changes would actually do and why that news source is unlikely to get the benefit of the doubt again.

Next, they explain why they think Trump was wrong to reject another debate with Kamala Harris, pointing out that even with somewhat biased moderators, a debate is still the best chance to make gettable voters aware of Kamala’s radical positions and failed tenure as vice president. They also chide Trump for allowing a figure like Laura Loomer into his inner circle – which is almost guaranteed to make things worse.

Finally, they’re stunned to see staunch lefty Connecticut Sen. Dick Blumenthal predict the American people will be “appalled” by the egregious failings of the U.S. Secret Service in connection to the attempted assassination of Trump on July 13. And Blumenthal also blasted the Department of Homeland Security for its lack of cooperation in the investigation.

Dems See Midterm Doom, Chertoff & The ‘Disinformation’ Board, Pennsylvania Senate Chaos

May 24, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Dems See Midterm Doom, Chertoff & The ‘Disinformation’ Board, Pennsylvania Senate Chaos” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome 2022 midterm assessments from two Democrats that this year is going to be very rough for their party. They also groan as Homeland Security keeps its “Disinformation Governance Board” and taps former Bush Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff as a key adviser. And they preview today’s key primaries before diving into the sheer chaos of the Pennsylvania race, where we still don’t have a GOP primary winner but we do have lawsuits. Meanwhile, medical experts are warning that the Democrat in the race had a more severe stroke than we were told in recent days and is “at risk for sudden cardiac death.”

May 18, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Disinformation Board Demise, Primary Takeaways, Huge GOP Turnout” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three good martinis! First, they cheer the apparent demise of the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board. They also react to the razor-close GOP Senate primary in Pennsylvania and the congressional primary defeat of Rep. Madison Cawthorn. Finally, they’re encouraged by Republican primary voters turning out in much bigger numbers than Democrats.

Dems’ Dour Senate Forecast, Sec. Mayorkas Has Failed, Disinformation Dystopia

April 29, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Dems’ Dour Senate Forecast, Mayorkas Targets VA Money, Disinformation Dystopia” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cautiously welcome reports that Democrats not only worry about losing control of the U.S. Senate this year but fear even bigger losses in 2024. They also hammer DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas for failing to secure our borders and his new idea of diverting medical personnel and money from the VA to deal with the human tide of illegal immigrants. And they’re even more unnerved by the idea of a Disinformation Governance Board and the the person chosen to run it.

Shrinking Economy, DHS ‘Disinformation’ Board, Escalating Russian Rhetoric

April 28, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Shrinking Economy, DHS ‘Disinformation’ Board, Escalating Russian Rhetoric” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three bad martinis tempered with some brief banter about the NFL Draft. First, they wince as the economy actually suffered negative growth in the first quarter of 2022. Then, they hammer the Biden administration for its new “Disinformation Governance Board,” which appears to be little more than an effort to stop speech it doesn’t like. And they react to a major escalation in state-run Russian commentary, which now openly refers to the Ukrainian conflict as a holy war and frequently suggests the use of nuclear weapons.

Bipartisan Border Bill, Psaki Is Clueless & Careless, NY’s War on Natural Gas

April 8, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Bipartisan Border Bill, Psaki Is Clueless & Careless, NY’s War on Natural Gas” on Spreaker.

Join Greg and Rob Long as they welcome a bipartisan Senate effort to stop the Biden administration from scrapping Title 42, better known as the Remain in Mexico policy for illegal immigrants. They also unload on Press Secretary Jen Psaki for not knowing how much worse the border crisis will get if Title 42 goes away – and also not seeming to care. And they shake their heads as New York Gov. Kathy Hochul pushes for an end to natural gas in new buildings starting as early as 2027.
