Costas & China, Stacey’s Revisionist History, Desperate Dems

December 3, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Costas & China, Stacey’s Revisionist History, Desperate Dems” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer sportscaster Bob Costas for denouncing the International Olympic Committee’s tendency to cozy up to authoritarian regimes, but they also note the Biden administration’s ongoing weakness toward Beijing. They also give Stacey Abrams a history lesson as she claims she always admitted that she lost the 2018 governor’s race in Georgia. And they get a kick out of Democrats trying to claim a major win after gas prices dip a whopping two cents per gallon over a two week span.

WTA Pulls Out of China, Stacey Abrams Runs Again, Inconvenient Court Cases

December 2, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “WTA Pulls Out of China, Stacey Abrams Runs Again, Inconvenient Court Cases” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the Women’s Tennis Association for following through on its threat to take its tournaments out of China after failing to see clear evidence that Peng Shuai is not being censored, not being intimidated, and that her rape allegations are being taken seriously. They also groan as Stacey Abrams runs for governor of Georgia again and wonder how President Trump’s disdain for incumbent GOP Gov. Brian Kemp could influence the race. And they dig into why the media is paying vert limited attention to the ongoing trials of Jussie Smottlett and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Defying Beijing, No Gov. McConaughey, WHO Bows to Xi

November 29, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Defying Beijing, No Gov. McConaughey, WHO Bows to Xi” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg cheer the bipartisan congressional delegation that defied Chinese demands not to visit Taiwan. They also react to the news that actor Matthew McConaughey will not run for governor in Texas. And they groan as the World Health Organization skips a letter of the Greek alphabet in naming the new COVID variant so it would not offend China.

Shifting Senate Forecast, Wisconsin Parade Horror, Peng’s Public Appearance

November 22, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Shifting Senate Forecast, Wisconsin Parade Horror, Peng’s Public Appearance” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the Cook Report shifting three critical 2022 Senate races from leaning towards the Democrats to being pure toss-ups…and all of them are held by Democrats. They also shudder over the horrific killing and serious injuring of people at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday. And they wonder why the suspect was even free in the first place. And they assess the significance of Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai appearing in public for the first time since her allegations that she was raped by a former high-ranking official in the Chinese Communist Party.

WTA vs. China, House Passes BBB, Left Still Sneering at Parents

November 19, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “WTA vs. China, House Passes BBB, Left Still Sneering at Parents” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg stand up and cheer for Women’s Tennis Association President Steve Simon and numerous players for publicly demanding that China prove that longtime tennis star Peng Shuai is alive and well and their her allegations of rape against a former high-ranking communist party official be seriously investigated. And they cheer Simon for willing to lose a billion dollars by pulling our of events in China if his concerns are not addressed quickly. They also cringe as the House of Representatives passes the bloated, deficit-growing spending bill known as Build Back Better, but they take a bit of solace in knowing this version likely won’t become law. And they fire back at an MSNBC columnist for telling parents that making demands about school policy and the curriculum is like telling a surgeon how to operate on your child.

Biden’s Weak Blame Game, Kenosha Judge Threatened, ‘Disappearing’ in China

November 17, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Weak Blame Game, Kenosha Judge Threatened, ‘Disappearing’ in China” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three bad but important martinis today. First, they roll their eyes as the Biden administration suddenly blames energy companies for high gas prices and suggests the Congressional Budget Office cannot be trusted if it gives the reconciliation plan a bad score. And they shudder as a a former high-ranking Chinese tennis player disappears after accusing a top government official of raping her. And the latest evidence supposedly suggesting she is alive and well actually makes us think exactly the opposite.

November 16, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Adams Rejects BLM Threats, Biden’s Diplomatic Boycott, The Kamala Wars” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three good martinis. First, they applaud incoming New York City Mayor Eric Adams for rejecting threats from Black Lives Matter and vowing to restore law and order to the city.  They also issue a very rare good martini to President Biden for placing a diplomatic boycott on the Winter Olympics in China early next year. And they pop a lot of popcorn as former staffers of Vice President Kamala Harris vent her frustrations to CNN that she is getting lousy assignments from President Biden and that the administration refuses to defend her as vigorously as it sticks up for Pete Buttigieg.

Powerful Dems Retiring, Left Wants Lower Expectations, Psaki & China, Our 11th Anniversary

October 19, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Powerful Dems Retiring, Left Wants Lower Expectations, Psaki & China, Our 11th Anniversary” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for a very special podcast!  First, they see reason to be optimistic about 2022 as three powerful House Democrats decide not to seek re-election. They also have plenty to say as Dems start telling Americans that the supply chain crisis just means we’ll have to stop whining and lower our expectations.  They marvel at Jen Psaki’s response to reports the Chinese may have fired off a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile. Finally, they raise a glass to 11 years of the 3 Martini Lunch!

Dems & Free Stuff, China & Cybersecurity, School Board & A Big Scandal

October 12, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Dems & Free Stuff, China & Cybersecurity, School Board & A Big Scandal” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg get a kick out of Democrats being frustrated that giving away a ton of money in the “COVID relief” bill is not helping them much politically. They also cringe as a departing Pentagon official warns that China is so far ahead of us in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence that we look like kindergarteners by comparison. And they rip into the Loudoun County, Virginia, school board for apparently covering up a brutal sexual assault against a ninth grade girl in order to advance their transgender agenda.
