Warren Caught in Biden Lies, Leftist DA Won’t Charge Tesla Vandal, Schwab’s WEF Scandal

April 23, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Warren Caught in Biden Lies, Leftist DA Won’t Charge Tesla Vandal, Schwab’s WEF Scandal” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for Tuesday’s 3 Martini Lunch as they have a great time breaking down a series of jaw-dropping stories. They dig into Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s awkward admission about Biden’s mental decline, a far-left Minnesota prosecutor refusing to charge a leftist state employee who seriously vandalized numerous Teslas, and explosive allegations that Klaus Schwab grossly misused World Economic Forum resources. Plus, they uncover a Die Hard connection to another of the day’s biggest stories.

First, they thoroughly enjoy watching a progressive podcast host grill Sen. Warren over her insistence that she didn’t notice signs of President Biden’s cognitive struggles before last year’s debate. Warren ultimately tried to deflect, but Jim and Greg explain why this backpedaling will haunt Democrats and the media for a long time.

Next, they’re stunned by prosecutor Mary Moriarty’s refusal to press charges against Dylan Adams, a Minnesota state employee accused of deliberately vandalizing six Teslas—causing $20,000 in damage. Adams will face no jail time and even gets to keep his government job.  Jim notes the frustration of local police and the damage done when intentionally criminal behavior is swept under the rug due to politics.

Then, they dive into the allegations against outgoing World Economic Forum leader Klaus Schwab and his wife, who are accused of stealing substantial funds from the WEF and taking over a luxury property owned by the organization during COVID lockdowns.

Trump’s Education Overhaul, American Freed from Afghanistan, Will Dems Lurch Further Left?

March 21, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Trump’s Education Overhaul, American Freed from Afghanistan, Will Dems Lurch Further Left?” on Spreaker.

Undisputed King of Stuff and Sink the Rising Sun author Jon Gabriel fills in for Jim today. Join Jon and Greg as they analyze President Trump’s executive order to dismantle the Department of Education, the release of an American prisoner from the Taliban, and a plurality of Democrats being fed up with their own party’s leaders in Congress.

First, they commend President Trump’s decision to phase out the Department of Education, citing the decline in student performance since its creation in 1979. Jon and Greg explain how this move won’t end public education but will likely improve it by shifting control to state and local officials. They also push back against Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who frame this as an existential crisis for schools.

Next, they celebrate the release of American George Glezmann, who had been held hostage by the Taliban. While relieved that no Taliban members were freed in exchange, Jon and Greg criticize the Biden administration for failing to classify Glezmann as “improperly detained” for more than a year. They also slam the media for downplaying the plight of Americans imprisoned or killed by oppressive regimes and terrorist groups.

Finally, they break down polling showing more Democrats view their congressional leadership negatively than positively. They also discuss the possibility of a tea party-style movement pushing the party further left and marvel at how Democrats continue to misread voter sentiment.

Dem Debacle at Hegseth Hearings, Minnesota Legislature Standoff, Bass Still Floundering

January 15, 2025 by GregC

Listen to “Dem Debacle at Hegseth Hearings, Minnesota Legislature Standoff, Bass Still Floundering” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg on 3 Martini Lunch as they dive into the Senate Democrats’ focus on theatrics over persuasion during the Pete Hegseth confirmation hearings, the Minnesota House of Representatives’ political standoff, and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass still sounding tone deaf over her performance during the wildfire crisis.

First, they analyze Pete Hegseth’s opening statement during his bid to become Secretary of Defense. Then they focus on the embarrassing spectacle put on by Senate Democrats. Rather than focusing on persuasive arguments, many Senate Democrats appeared more interested in creating viral moments and making it far more likely that Hegseth will be confirmed.

Next, they discuss the political turmoil in Minnesota, where Republicans hold a slim one-seat majority in the state House of Representatives. Democrats are boycotting the chamber to prevent Republicans from forming committees and advancing their legislative agenda. With a special election approaching, Democrats are accusing the GOP of a “coup” and demanding further delay before any legislative action can take place.

Finally, they shake their heads as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass still doesn’t have a good answer about whether she should have left for Ghana when the warnings for severe wildfire conditions were so high. Jim minces few words about the mayor’s job performance and her very unimpressive public appearances.

Hegseth Picked for Pentagon, CIA Arrest Over Israel Leak, California’s Slow Vote Count

November 13, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Hegseth Picked for Pentagon, CIA Arrest Over Israel Leak, California’s Slow Vote Count” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they break down President-Elect Trump’s nomination of Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense, a CIA officer charged with leaking Israel’s attack plans on Iran, and California’s protracted vote-counting process.

First, they focus on Trump’s pick of Pete Hegseth, a decorated veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, to lead the Department of Defense. Democrats, including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, are outraged, pointing to Hegseth’s role as a Fox News host. The left is also not happy about Hegseth’s determination to dismantle the Biden-era DEI approach to building and running the military. But Jim says barring any serious revelations, Hegseth should be confirmed.

Next, they react to shocking news of a CIA officer charged with leaking highly classified intelligence regarding a potential Israeli strike on Iran. They discuss how this breach severely damages trust in American intelligence agencies and examine the ways individuals with access to top-secret information can become compromised, posing significant national security risks.

Finally, they analyze an NBC News report on why California’s vote count is taking well over a week. Unlike states such as Florida and Texas, which count nearly all votes on election night, California faces substantial delays. And each part of the explanation for California’s sluggishness just exposes what a terrible election system the state has.

2nd Amendment Win, Dems’ Chilling Google Demand, FDA Bans Juul

June 23, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “2nd Amendment Win, Dems’ Chilling Google Demand, FDA Bans Juul” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the Supreme Court decision confirming that gun owners do not need to “show cause” to get a concealed carry permit. They also criticize four Senate Democrats for demanding Google not include any information on pregnancy resource centers when people search for abortion services. And they wonder why the Biden administration is banning Juul vaping products.

Senate Sinks Abortion Bill, Georgia’s Record Turnout, Massive Producer Inflation

May 12, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Senate Sinks Abortion Bill, Georgia’s Record Turnout, Massive Producer Inflation” on Spreaker.

Join Jim & Greg as they cheer a majority of U.S. senators rejecting the Democrats’ abortion bill that would have ended hundreds of state restrictions and forced pro-life doctors to perform abortions. They’re also glad to see record early voting turnout in Georgia, a vindication of last year’s new election laws that Democrats said was Jim Crow 2.0. And they shudder as the Producer Price Index measure of inflation was still at 11 percent in April.

Hassan’s Border Blunder, U.S. Military Dependent Upon China, Warren’s Bad Math

April 25, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Hassan’s Border Blunder, U.S. Military Dependent Upon China, Warren’s Bad Math” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome new polls showing New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan deadlocked with her possible GOP rivals after her sudden interest in border security faces a major backlash. They also shudder at a Pentagon report showing the U.S. military is dangerously dependent upon China for critical components needed to fight effectively. And they shake their heads as Sen. Elizabeth Warren tries to argue that “forgiving” student loan debt by forcing taxpayers to foot the bill will not add to inflation.

Kennedy Gets Crushed, Pelosi’s Privilege, Left vs. the Founders

September 2, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Kennedy Gets Crushed, Pelosi’s Privilege, Left vs. the Founders” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome Massachusetts voters rejecting the Senate bid of Rep. Joe Kennedy III, who didn’t have a reason to run other than being a Kennedy, and helping dismantle the stupid notion that America has a royal family. They also unload on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for flouting COVID restrictions while constantly lecturing everyone else. And they hammer local D.C. political figures for wanting to “remove, relocate, or contextualize” the Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument among other sites – and call out the Washington Post for pretending there was never a call to remove or relocate them.

Klobuchar’s Savvy Exit, Demings ‘Not Black,’ Cancelling Conservatives

June 19, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Klobuchar’s Savvy Exit, Demings ‘Not Black,’ Cancelling Conservatives” on Spreaker.

National Review Online Contributing Editor Rob Long joins Greg today to serve up your end-of-the-week martinis. First, they get a kick out of Amy Klobuchar taking herself out of the Biden veepstakes when it was already pretty clear she would not be the choice, but they also appreciate her kneecapping Elizabeth Warren’s chances by saying the running mate should be a woman of color. But that gets complicated too, as Rob and Greg react to Black Lives Matter and National Action Network figures suggesting Florida Rep. Val Demings is not really black because she used to be a police officer. And they unpack a lefty blogger’s contention that conservatives should not be able to teach, coach, or be a boss of any kind because they supposedly don’t believe in equality.

Hospitals Holding Up, Public Not Ready to Re-Engage, Warren’s Late Endorsement

April 15, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Hospitals Holding Up, Public Not Ready to Re-Engage, Warren’s Late Endorsement” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome news that hospitals in most parts of the country have decent capacity for more patients – a big improvement from earlier in the month. They also recoil as more than 80 percent of Americans want to keep social distancing even if it means more economic damage. And they get a kick out of Elizabeth Warren offering a ridiculously late endorsement of Joe Biden, now that he’s the last one standing for the Democrats.
