They also fume as the House Judiciary Committee uncovers evidence that FBI Director Christopher Wray lied to lawmakers about the extent of FBI monitoring of Catholic churches. Wray says only one field office was engaged in such tactics but now we know there were at least three. Finally, they react to the news that Kari Lake is planning to run for U.S. Senate in Arizona. Jon, who is based in Arizona, explains why he suspects Lake will win the nomination but lose the general election and why Sen. Kyrsten Sinema may benefit the most if Lake gets in the race.

They agree with the court’s conclusion that President Trump’s travel ban is within his constitutional and statutory right. They are also glad to see the Court side with free speech in striking down a California law that required crisis pregnancy centers to advertise abortion services. They are also pleasantly surprised that Democratic leaders are condemning Maxine Waters’ calls for the harassment of Trump administration officials.

Dems Trip Over Taxes, Hawaii’s Missile Test Mess, Manning Runs for Senate

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America get a big kick out of Democrats insisting there are no real real benefits for the middle class in the recent tax bill – even as company after company publicly announces higher wages, new jobs, and bonuses.  They also shake their heads as emergency official in Hawaii create a major mess by trying to run a missile alert drill and send out an actual missile alert instead.  And they sigh as convicted military leaker and felon Bradley Manning, who now identifies as a woman named Chelsea, runs for the U.S. Senate in Maryland.
