Listen to “Media Cover for Dems, Biden Doc Conspiracy Theory, Targeting Mitch Daniels” on Spreaker.
Join Jim and Greg as they serve up a bad martini and a couple of crazy ones. First, they sigh as the mainstream press does damage control for the Democrats. Axios contends that Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg is just the victim of unfortunate circumstances and Republicans are the real problem for pouncing on his problems. Meanwhile, CNN chalks up the Biden classified document problem to the unease of Trump coming to the White House. They also get a kick out of Georgia Democrat Hank Johnson, who once worried that America’s military presence on Guam might cause the island to tip over, openly suggesting that the classified documents were planted in Biden’s office and garage. Finally, Jim fires back at the Club for Growth for launching an attack as against possible Indiana GOP Senate hopeful Mitch Daniels that greatly distorts his record as Indiana governor and president of Purdue University.

Listen to “GOP’s Senate Momentum, Army’s Dismal Recruiting, OPEC’s Possible Price Hike” on Spreaker.
Jim is back! Join Jim and Greg as they welcome the Axios assessment that Republicans seem to have momentum in the battle for the U.S. Senate thanks to shifts in a couple key races. They’re also concerned as the U.S. Army reports it fell 15,000 soldiers short of it’s recruiting goal in Fiscal Year 2022. That’s 25 percent below the target and the other branches posted disappointing numbers too. And they shudder as more and more signs point to gas prices rising again soon, including OPEC threatening significant production cuts.
Jim and Greg also reflect back to the D.C. snipers, whose killing spree began 20 years ago today and claimed the lives of 10 innocent people in the area.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome better polling news for the likes of Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson and and GOP hopefuls in the critical states of Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, and even Pennsylvania. They also notice the odd trend of Democrats like New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and Washington Sen. Patty Murray refusing to debate their Republican opponents. And they may have sprained their eyeballs as the very rich Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard presents himself as a socialist who regrets becoming so wealthy and is now dedicated to saving the planet.

Listen to “Senate Midterms, NYC Lets Non-Citizens Vote, Sotomayor Clueless on COVID” on Spreaker.
Join Jim and Greg as they welcome Senate Republicans making their decisions about running in 2022 and with two incumbents deciding to run again, the GOP odds of taking the majority probably improved. They also fume as New York City Mayor Eric Adams decides to support a city council resolution allowing 800,000 non-citizens in the city to vote in municipal elections. And they’re stunned as Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor claims – in oral arguments – that 100,000 kids are seriously ill with COVID and that many of them are on ventilators. None of that is anywhere close to accurate.

Jim and Greg cheer Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson for calling out the massive amount of deficit spending since the pandemic, how we don’t need the trillions more being pushed in Biden’s agenda, and how runaway inflation is a real danger. He’s right, but will people listen after Republicans spent big when they had control? They also react to a new report showing more than 33,000 people came to our southern border last month who were not from Central American countries. And they shake their heads as NIH officials admit to Congress that the Biden administration never consulted with them before shutting down a State Department probe into the origins of the COVID pandemic.

Listen to “Breaking Down A Baffling Week in British Politics” on Spreaker.
Luke Coffey, direction of the Allison Center for Foreign Policy at the Heritage Foundation, explains what happened in the UK this week and why.
Why did Prime Minister Boris Johnson ask Queen Elizabeth II to suspend parliament? Why did this common tactic cause such a stir that Johnson lost his working majority in parliament? Why does Johnson want new elections? Why does parliament oppose them?
Listen to the full podcast as we address all of these questions and discuss the impact of all of this on Brexit and why there’s such a sharp divide between what the public wants and what parliament wants.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud Congress for overturning an Obama veto by huge margins and allowing 9/11 families to sue Saudi Arabia. They also sigh as Fox News is forced to tell their hosts that online polls about who won Monday’s debate are not the same as a scientific poll. And they wonder what Gary Johnson is smoking as he fails to name a single leader he respects. Actually, we’re pretty sure we know what he’s smoking.
