Russians in Retreat, Kamala’s Border BS, Left’s Nutty 9/11 Comparison

September 12, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Russians in Retreat, Kamala’s Border BS, Left’s Nutty 9/11 Comparison” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they serve up one good martini and two crazy ones. After sharing their reflections on 21 years since the 9/11 attacks, they welcome the news that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is shoving Russian forces way back – in some cases all the way back to Russia. But Jim warns of a dark possibility after this good news. They also unload on Vice President Kamala Harris telling Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press” that the border is secure because the administration wants it to be secure – and that any problems are due to the Trump administration. Finally, they slam the door on the ludicrous argument of Democrats and other lefties that the January 6th riots were comparable to the 9/11 attacks or even worse.

Labor Day Special: Answering Questions on the Midterms, Being Wrong, & Football

September 5, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Labor Day Special: More Answers for Your Questions” on Spreaker.

Happy Labor Day! As we observe the unofficial end of summer, Jim and I present a brand new episode of us answering your questions. Today, we discuss which candidates are likely to overperform or underperform their states’ natural partisan bent in the year’s midterm elections…and we have names from both parties in both categories. We also fess up and admit some things we were wrong about in our political analysis over the years. And we’re asked what we think of college football and all of the big changes happening to the sport as we kick off a new season. Enjoy the discussion, and join us again for our usual format on Tuesday.

Zawahiri & ‘The Flying Ginsu,’ U.S. Tensions with Ukraine, Trump Endorses ‘ERIC’

August 2, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Zawahiri & ‘The Flying Ginsu,’ U.S. Tensions with Ukraine, Trump Endorses ‘ERIC'” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer the CIA drone killing of Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in Afghanistan and recount the horrors he helped to inflict over the years. But they also wonder just how much Al Qaeda has reconstituted in Afghanistan. They also note the signs of a fraying relationship between the U.S. and Ukraine and whether the Biden administration is looking to end the war while Zelensky refuses. And they shake their heads as Trump endorses “ERIC” in the Missouri Senate race, since Eric Greitens is a scandal-ridden cancer on the GOP who could easily lose the general election and Eric Schmitt is a strong conservative who would win easily in November.

September 10, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Craven COVID Speech, Left’s Racism on Full Display, 9/11 Reflections” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they slam President Biden’s heavy-handed and logically inconsistent bullying act on COVID policy…and they discuss why he’s really doing this. They also hammer Democrats and their allies in the media for the despicable, racist coverage of California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder. And they offer their reflections in advance of Saturday’s 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Remembering 9/11, Voter Registration Surge, Mueller Team Malfeasance, Teleprompter Tantrum

September 11, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Remembering 9/11, Voter Registration Surge, Mueller Team Malfeasance, Teleprompter Tantrum” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for a special 9/11 anniversary edition of the podcast. They both share their indelible memories of that horrific day and why it is vital for us to remember the evil perpetrated against us and how the very best of America rose to the occasion. Then they dive into the three martinis of the day, starting with a GOP voter registration surge in Pennsylvania. They also fume as 31 phones connected to the Mueller special counsel team were wiped clean before the Justice Department could examine them. And they react to the Biden campaign spokesman who was outraged that he would be asked if Joe Biden uses a teleprompter during interviews and other events – but never answered the question.

Oregon Police Punch Back, Biden’s Mask Mandate, 9/11 Tribute Cancelled

August 14, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Oregon Police Punch Back, Biden’s Mask Mandate, 9/11 Tribute Cancelled” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer police in Oregon for vowing to pull back from parts of Portland after the local prosecutor refuses to press charges against rioters. They also slam Joe Biden for suggesting everyone needs to wear a mask outside of their homes regardless of the circumstances and for insisting on it for the next three months. And they vehemently disagree with New York City’s decision to cancel this year’s powerful 9/11 blue light display over COVID concerns.

Inside the Pentagon on 9/11

September 11, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “Inside the Pentagon on 9/11” on Spreaker.

On September 11, 2001, U.S. Navy Captain Tom Joyce was at his post in the Pentagon. After learning of the attacks in New York City, he knew America was under attack and that the Pentagon could be a target.

At 9:37 a.m., those fears were proven true.

In this interview from the one-year anniversary of 9/11, Joyce walks us through what happened that morning, and how he and his colleagues responded after American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon. He also recounts the immediate resolve of everyone in the building and how his Christian faith sustained him during those difficult days.

Tiger Roars Again, Pelosi vs. Socialists, Omar & 9/11

April 15, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “Tiger Roars Again, Pelosi vs. Socialists, Omar & 9/11” on Spreaker.

David French of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America have a strong difference of opinion about Tiger Woods, but both are impressed by the comeback Woods pulled off to recover from debilitating injuries and win a fifth Masters green jacket.  They also enjoy watching House Speaker Nancy Pelosi try to downplay how socialists and socialists policies are surging among Democrats but David warns conservatives not to pop too much popcorn as they watch.  And David explains why we may have hit “peak stupid” on Twitter as the left tries to pretend Ilhan Omar’s comments were something other than a flippant diminishing of 9/11 and that any criticism of her comments amounts to incitement.

Hillary Pushes Debunked Lie, GOP Candidate Attacked, Scarborough’s Shame

September 12, 2018 by GregC

Listen to “Hillary Pushes Debunked Lie, GOP Candidate Attacked, Scarborough's Shame” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America get a kick out of Hillary Clinton trying to damage efforts to confirm Brett Kavanaugh by spreading a birth control lie that was thoroughly debunked days ago – even by liberals.  They also recoil as an angry anti-Trump voter tries to stab a Republican congressional candidate in California and the mainstream media largely ignore the incident.  And they blast MSNBC host Joe Scarborough for arguing, on 9/11, that President Trump is damaging the United States far more than any terrorist ever has or could.

Politifact Hammers Harris, Trump’s Tanking Approval, 9/11 Reflections

September 11, 2018 by GregC

Listen to “Politifact Hammers Harris, Trump’s Tanking Approval, 9/11 Reflections” on Spreaker.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud Politifact for not trying to explain away the birth control smear Sen. Kamala Harris aimed at Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and giving Harris “four Pinocchios.”  They also cringe as a new batch of polls show President Trump’s approval taking a hit in recent weeks, because that may mean bad news in November for Republicans in competitive races.  And they pause to remember the anguish of the terrorist attacks that happened on this date in 2001 and the resolve we still need to confront today’s threats.
