Gorbachev Dies, Walker Leads, Fetterman Ducks, Biden Lies

August 31, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Gorbachev Dies, Walker Leads, Fetterman Ducks, Biden Lies” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they remember the late former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and discuss how he will be remembered if history is accurate. They also welcome news that Herschel Walker now enjoys a slight lead in the Georgia U.S. Senate race and dissect John Fetterman’s decision to drop out of a Senate debate in Pennsylvania. And they cringe at President Biden’s numerous gaffes and lies as he campaigned for Fetterman and others Tuesday in Pennsylvania.

Biden’s Afghanistan Lies, Blinken’s Weak Promises, Biden’s Fleeting Empathy

August 31, 2021 by GregC

Listen to “Biden’s Afghanistan Lies, Blinken’s Weak Promises, Biden’s Fleeting Empathy” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they fume over President Biden’s horrifically bad predictions and outright lies about his Afghanistan policy, most notably his vow to stay until all Americans are evacuated.  They also sigh as Secretary of State Antony Blinken tries to assure us that any American or Afghan ally who wants to leave will be able to do so because the Taliban promised to let them do it. And they react to the frustration of Gold Star families at how Biden interacted with them and tried to make their conversations about himself.

Much Better Debate, Biden’s Many Lies, Libs & Coyotes

October 23, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Much Better Debate, Biden’s Many Lies, Libs & Coyotes” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss how the final debate was much more pleasant to watch and far more substantive than the first one. They also dissect Joe Biden’s many lies in the debate – from saying he never promised to ban fracking to suggesting that the Hunter Biden laptop story is just Russian disinformation to inexplicably contending no one lost their private health insurance plans because of Obamacare. And they appreciate many lefties revealing just how little they know about immigration policy by misunderstanding and mocking Trump’s reference to “coyotes” smuggling kids across the border.

What Price Should China Pay?

April 1, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “What Price Should China Pay?” on Spreaker.

Time and time again, China lied about the severity of the coronavirus, how it started, and how many people died there.  Now, by all accounts, the communist rulers are lying about there being no new cases.

Is there any question China is lying?  What does it gain from these deceptions when the lies are so obvious?  What does the poor Chinese response to the virus tell us abut the regime in general?  And what should be the immediate and long-term U.S. responses for China needlessly endangering so many lives around the world?

We get answers from Gordon G. Chang, a China expert and author of “The Coming Collapse of China.”

Afghan Con Job, Pensacola Terrorism, Injecting Kids Into Politics

December 9, 2019 by GregC

Listen to “Afghan Con Job, Pensacola Terrorism, Injecting Kids Into Politics” on Spreaker.

It’s a bleak search for good news on the Three Martini Lunch.  Today, Jim and Greg cringe as reports show the federal government has been flailing unsuccessfully for a sound policy in Afghanistan, lying to the public about what’s been achieved, and wasting an obscene amount of taxpayer dollars.  They also react to the mass shooting committed by a Saudi military officer at Pensacola Naval Air Station Friday, in what increasingly appears to be an act of Islamic terrorism.  And they roll their eyes hard as the Democratic counsel for the House Judiciary Committee claims his young son asked him a deep and probing question about the character of the president.

Three Martini Lunch 10/21/16

October 21, 2016 by GregC

http://dateline.radioamerica.org/podcast/3-Martini-Lunch-10-21-16.mp3

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America are pleased to see Pat Toomey and Marco Rubio in stronger positions in their key Senate races.  They also shred Pres. Obama’s patently dishonest speech calling Obamacare a great success, proposing more government involvement, and demonizing Republicans.  And they groan as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump can’t even do humor well at the Al Smith dinner.
