Dem Senate Hopeful Wounds Reporter, Kamala’s Laughable Biden Defense, Kamala’s ‘Weakness’

October 24, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Dem Senate Hopeful Wounds Reporter, Kamala’s Laughable Biden Defense, Kamala’s ‘Weakness'” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they return to their usual format with three crazy martinis! Today, they discuss the Missouri Democratic U.S. Senate candidate injuring a reporter, Kamala Harris’s increasingly implausible defense of Biden’s cognitive abilities, and her baffling response when asked about her greatest weakness.

First, they are stunned by reports that Missouri Senate candidate Lucas Kunce injured a reporter at a gun event. Kunce, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran running against GOP Sen. Josh Hawley, accidentally wounded the reporter with a bullet fragment after firing an AR-15 at close range. Jim points out that if a Republican candidate injured someone while firing an AR-15, it would be national news for days.

Next, they wince as Kamala Harris continues to defend President Biden’s cognitive state. Harris insists that she has seen no signs of Biden being incapable of serving, despite growing concerns about his mental fitness. Jim and Greg also discuss Harris’s unconvincing reaction to suggestions that Biden’s poor debate performance might have ended his re-election campaign.

Next, they cringe as Harris continues to defend President Biden’s cognitive state and saysshe has not noticed anything to suggest he’s incapable of serving. Jim and Greg also discuss Harris’s feigned shock that Biden’s poor debate performance led to the end of his re-election campaign.

Finally, they react to Harris’s weak answer during CNN’s town hall when asked about her greatest weakness. Instead of a genuine response, Harris claimed her biggest weakness is surrounding herself with smart people, and you can almost hear the eyerolls from Jim and Greg. Plus, Greg has another “Doris” update.

Baltimore Bridge Disaster, Trump’s Lower Bond, Biden Betrays Israel, NBC Revolts Over Ronna

March 26, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Baltimore Bridge Disaster, Trump’s Lower Bond, Biden Betrays Israel, NBC Revolts Over Ronna” on Spreaker.

Former Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney and National Review Contributing Editor Andy McCarthy is in for Jim today. Today, they cover four stories for the price of three martinis.

Before getting to the official martinis, Andy and Greg discuss the cargo ship hitting and collapsing the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. Andy cautions people from jumping to conclusions but also warns authorities not to rule out anything publicly just for the sake of trying to keep people calm.

Next, Andy breaks down Monday’s appeals court decision in New York, which reduced Donald Trump’s bond in the civil fraud case to $175 million. Andy says it was a good decision but explains why the bond should be even lower.

Then, they unload on President Biden and his advisers for abandoning Israel by allowing a United Nations ceasefire resolution to pass out of the UN Security Council. Biden has been growing colder and colder towards Israel in an effort to shore up votes, but Andy explains how Biden is simply continuing the Obama-era policy of appointing Islamists to influential government positions.

Finally, they get a kick out of NBC and MSNBC anchors blasting their own bosses on the air for making former Republican National Committee Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel a paid contributor. Watching all the MSNBC personalities pretend the uproar is about something other than hiring a Republican is very amusing.

Blowing up Dems’ Voter ID Lies, Schumer Undermines Israel, Media Malpractice Over Haiti

March 14, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Blowing up Dems’ Voter ID Lies, Schumer Undermines Israel, Media Malpractice Over Haiti” on Spreaker.

Undisputed King of Stuff, columnist, and longtime Ricochet Editor-in-Chief Jon Gabriel is in for Jim today as he and Greg enjoy a fantastic good martini, an infuriating bad one, and more media insanity.

First, Jon and Greg sit back and relish Texas Republican Rep. Wesley Hunt savaging the Democrats’ talking points that requiring voters to present a photo ID to vote is somehow racist, discriminatory, or burdensome. Rep. Hunt effectively and cleverly refers to his own experience as a black man in procuring photo ID’s and the proof in Georgia that secure elections don’t equal voter suppression.

Then, they unload on Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer for castigating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from the Senate floor, with Schumer labeling Netanyahu an “obstacle to peace” and demanding new elections in Israel. And while he demands new elections and a change in Israeli leadership, Schumer assures us that the U.S. would never, ever interfere in those elections.

Finally, they react with horror to the gang-fueled anarchy unfolding in Haiti and the humanitarian crisis that seems headed our way. But they also pause to note the insanity of NBC News blasting “right wing influencers” for pointing out some of these gangs have a history of cannibalism – rather than criticizing the gangs themselves.

Biden Trounced on Key Issues, Horrible Border Bill, Dem Voters Ignore Alternatives

February 5, 2024 by GregC

Listen to “Biden Trounced on Key Issues, Horrible Border Bill, Dem Voters Ignore Alternatives” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they dissect horrible polling numbers for President Biden, an easy win for him in the South Carolina primary, and the absolute non-starter of a border security bill.

First, they dig through an NBC poll showing Biden not only trailing Donald Trump but getting trounced by large margins on issues ranging from border security to the economy to crime to America’s standing in the world. And the approval numbers for Vice President Kamala Harris are even worse than Biden’s.

They also shudder as the early warnings about the contents of a border security bill are proven accurate – from allowing nearly 5,000 illegal entries per day in perpetuity to liberally issued work permits for those waiting to have their alleged asylum claims ruled upon.

Finally, polling regularly shows that Democrats are leery about having President Biden as their nominee again in 2024 but you’d never know it by how easily he crushed his low-profile rivals in Saturday’s South Carolina primary. Turnout may have been exceedingly low, but it’s obvious that neither of his challengers provide much appeal for the base.

Sen. Manchin’s 2024 Plans, Two-Tiered Justice & the Nashville Manifesto, Media Coddle Hunter Biden

November 10, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Sen. Manchin’s 2024 Plans, Two-Tiered Justice & the Nashville Manifesto, Media Coddle Hunter Biden” on Spreaker.

Former Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney and National Review Contributing Editor Andy McCarthy is in for Jim, who will be back on Monday. Today, Andy and Greg break down West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin announcing he will not run for the U.S. Senate again in 2024 and will instead travel the nation “to see if there is interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle.” Andy and Greg assess the impact another third party candidate might have on the outcome next year.

They also dig into the Nashville police refusing to release the manifesto from the Covenant School murderer and suspending sever officers for their alleged role in leaking a few pages from the document. Andy explain why he sees this as another maddening example of our two-tiered justice system.

Finally, they get a big laugh out of NBC trying to label Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis a hypocrite for saying politicians’ kids should be left out of political arguments because he’s publicly critical of 53-year-old Hunter Biden.

March 28, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Biden Plummets in Polls, Gaffes Galore in Europe, Will Smith Slaps Chris Rock” on Spreaker.
Join Jim and Greg as they react to a new NBC poll that has President Biden’s approval rating at a record low 40%. They cringe at Biden’s gaffe-stricken trip to Europe and what it means for American foreign policy. And your favorite podcast hosts share their opinions on Will Smith’s public slapping of Oscars presenter Chris Rock.

Listen to “Nord Stream 2 Halted, Putin Undeterred by Sanctions, Abysmal Ratings for Beijing Olympics” on Spreaker.
Join Jim and Chad as they welcome the halting of certification for Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Americans Reject Genocide Olympics, Blue States Flip on Masks, Biden’s Science Advisor Saga

February 8, 2022 by GregC

Listen to “Americans Reject Genocide Olympics, Blue States Flip on Masks, Biden’s Science Advisor Saga” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they applaud their countrymen for their refusal to watch the Beijing Winter Olympics, handing NBC terrible ratings. They laugh at the sudden change in “The Science” as Democratic governors realize mask mandates in schools are unpopular. And President Biden’s tough talk on workplace bullying proves ineffective as it took a two month investigation to fire science advisor Eric Lander.

Forest Fire Facts, Middle East Momentum, Public Backs Barrett

October 20, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Forest Fire Facts, Middle East Momentum, Public Backs Barrett” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for three good martinis! First, they credit NBC for actually reporting that a big reason for huge forest fires is poor government management and a refusal to diligently thin out forests to contain future fires. They’re also thrilled to see polling showing 80 percent of Saudis expecting normalization of relations with Israel and 71 percent expecting it whether the Palestinians pursue a peace deal or not. And they’re glad to see a majority of Americans approving the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett and a huge majority opposing court packing.

Hawley Hammers Lawmakers, NBC’s Ugly Hit Job, NFL Courting Kaepernick

June 17, 2020 by GregC

Listen to “Hawley Hammers Lawmakers, NBC’s Ugly Hit Job, NFL Courting Kaepernick” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley for calling out the Supreme Court’s recent judicial activism but also for upbraiding legislators for being too fearful to take up difficult issues and leaving them to the courts to resolve. They also slam NBC for attempting to get Google to deplatform The Federalist and Zero Hedge – largely based on objectionable content in the comments section.  And they discuss NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suddenly encouraging teams to sign Colin Kaepernick.
