October 16, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Landry’s Strong Louisiana Win, DeSantis Gets Floridians Home from Israel, Biden’s Bizarre Re-Election Rationale” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cheer Jeff Landry’s big win in the Louisiana governor’s race, dominating the open primary so much that he avoided a runoff. They also applaud Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for organizing a way to bring hundreds of Florida residents home from Israel, including more than 90 children. Finally, they shake their heads as President Biden tells 60 Minutes that he’s running for re-election because he’s confident that he’s really close to achieving Middle East peace.

They also discuss the Hamas leader declaring today a “Day of Rage” against Israel and how he is clearly looking to foment violence and bloodshed. Finally, they react to new charges against New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez, who is now accused of conspiracy to act as a foreign agent for the Egyptian government. Evil Hamas Terrorism, Biden Administration Weakness, Typical Anti-Israel Responses

October 9, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Evil Hamas Terrorism, Biden Administration Weakness, Typical Anti-Israel Responses” on Spreaker.

Jim and Greg devote today’s podcast to three critical aspects of the horrific terrorist attacks perpetrated in Israel by Hamas over the weekend the worst mass murder of Jews since World War II. First, they chronicle the unconscionable acts of terrorism, torture, rape, and abduction by Hamas – and how the only proper description of the actions is pure evil.

Then they walk through the Biden’s administration’s refusal to confirm Iran was intimately involved in the planning of the attacks even after Hamas and others admit that’s exactly what happened. They also detail how weakness projected by the Biden administration in Afghanistan and in its constant groveling before Tehran to strike a new nuclear agreement likely emboldened Iran.

But they also note that there will likely be significant political consequences in Israel over the failure to prevent or detect the attacks.

Finally, they fume over the very predictable responses from some politicians, media figures, and activists blaming Israel for the carnage or at least creating a moral equivalence between the terrorism and the Israeli military response.

Big GOP Edge on Economy, Iran’s U.S. Infiltration, Electoral College Unpopular

September 26, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Big GOP Edge on Economy, Iran’s U.S. Infiltration, Electoral College Unpopular” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they welcome a stunningly good poll from NBC News showing American voters trusting Republicans far more than Democrats to do a good job on the economy – the biggest edge for the GOP on this issue in 32 years. And Jim breaks down why Americans are very sour on the economy despite the Biden administration insisting that it’s great. They also shudder at a Semafor report showing that Iran infiltrated the Obama and Biden administrations as well as the media to push for softer relations toward the mullahs in Iran and the pathetic Iran nuclear deal. Finally, they groan as two-thirds of Americans want to scrap the Electoral College and choose presidents based on the popular vote, and they are especially irked at the 47 percent of Republicans who say they want that. Plus, they explain the wisdom shown by our founding fathers in creating the Electoral College.

New Mexico Sheriff Stands Strong, Biden’s Weak 9/11, Granholm’s EV Adventure

September 12, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “New Mexico Sheriff Stands Strong, Biden’s Weak 9/11, Granholm’s EV Adventure” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg for three more powerful martinis today. After chronicling Jim’s emotional roller coaster of watching his Jets lose Aaron Rodgers within four snaps and still find a way to win the game, they cheer Bernalillo County New Mexico Sheriff John Allen for calmly explaining that he will not follow Gov. Lujan-Grisham’s emergency order removing open and concealed carry rights because it is unconstitutional, does not help public safety, and only impacts law-abiding people. They also groan as Biden fails to show up to any of the 9/11 sites yesterday, lies about going to Ground Zero the day after the attacks, and then cuts a sweetheart deal giving prisoners and $6 billion in cash to Iran in exchange for American prisoners. Finally, they get a kick out of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm embarking on an EV trip from Charlotte to Memphis to prove electric vehicles are great for road trips. But that’s not what the trip ended up proving.

DeSantis & the Storm, Gold Star Parents & Biden, Dems Dodge Transparency

August 30, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “DeSantis & the Storm, Gold Star Parents & Biden, Dems Dodge Transparency” on Spreaker.

Ricochet.com Editor-in-Chief Jon Gabriel is in for Jim, who will return on Thursday. Today, Jon and Greg applaud the competence and preparedness of Gov. DeSantis in Florida as Hurricane Idalia comes ashore. They also note the anguish of the parents of American service members who were killed two years ago in the terrorist attack at Abbey Gate in Kabul – and their frustration at President Biden’s disastrous policies and his callous treatment of them ever since. Finally, they highlight a lawsuit in Michigan after an email about the 2021 Benton Harbor water crisis was written with Greek letters to avoid showing up in a Freedom of Information request. And it was written that way because it suggested the government was caught flat-footed on the crisis.

Timestamps:

0:39 – Hurricane Idalia hits Florida and the state preparedness seems to be excellent yet again.

6:53 – Parents of service members killed in the Abbey Gate terrorist attack express their anguish and their frustration with Biden and his administration.

14:17 – Energy consultant for Michigan Gov. Whitmer accused of hiding his email from Freedom of Information requests by using Greek letters to share bad news about a water crisis.

China’s Lousy Economy, Reality in Afghanistan, White House Briefing Blunders

August 16, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “China’s Lousy Economy, Reality in Afghanistan, White House Briefing Blunders” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they cautiously welcome news that China’s economy is struggling mightily as a result of the prolonged, Draconian COVID lockdowns. But what might China do to distract its people from those economic problems? They also mark two years since the fall of Kabul to the Taliban during Biden’s humiliating exit from Afghanistan – and point out all of the horrific restrictions reimposed on women and girls. Finally, they roll their eyes at the sheer incompetence of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who butchered the names of both Hawaii senators and referred to Sen. Mazie Hirono as a “he.”
Timestamps:
0:21 – China’s struggling economy
6:22 – Two years after the fall of Kabul, life for Afghan women is as bad as you would expect.
15:09 – Karine Jean-Pierre’s weak performance as White House Press Secretary

Pushing Back on China, Surprising Arizona Poll, Biden’s Gold Star Lie

August 8, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Pushing Back on China, Surprising Arizona Poll, Biden’s Gold Star Lie” on Spreaker.

Ricochet Co-Founder Rob Long is in for Jim. Today, Rob and Greg are glad to see Italy on the brink of rescinding its cooperation with China’s aggressive Belt and Road economic agenda. They also react to new polling in Arizona showing the Republicans do worse in the Senate race if Sen. Sinema runs as an independent than in a head-to-head matchup with Democrats. Finally, they react to the heartbreaking testimony of the mother who lost her son in the Kabul airport blast and says all President Biden said to her was that his son “came home in a flag-draped coffin.” It’s a lie that Biden has repeated many times.

Timestamps:

0:46 – Italy pulls out of deal to help China advance it’s aggressive Belt and Road initiative.

6:09 – Arizona Senate poll shows Republicans do worse in a three-person race involving Sen. Sinema than in a head-to-head matchup with Democrats.

12:14 – Gold star mother recounts how Pres. Biden told he knows how she feels because his son came home in a flag-draped coffin. It’s a lie Biden has repeated many times.

August 4, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Feinstein Relinquishes Power, CNN Loses to NewsNation, Vivek & 9/11” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they whip up three crazy martinis to close out the week. First, they sigh as California Sen. Dianne Feinstein gives up power of attorney over her own legal affairs but not her seat in the U.S. Senate. Then they’re stunned as CNN ‘s ratings tank to the point that it loses a timeslot to NewsNation. Finally, Jim digs into comments from GOP presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy casting doubt about what the government has told us about the 9/11 attacks.

Timestamps

1:28 – Sen. Feinstein relinquishes power of attorney but not her Senate seat.

7:18 – CNN ratings so low that it loses a time slot to NewsNation

Toyota vs. the Greens, Biden’s Expired Talking Points, PGA Commish Blames Congress

June 14, 2023 by GregC

Listen to “Toyota vs. the Greens, Biden’s Expired Talking Points, PGA Commish Blames Congress” on Spreaker.

Join Jim and Greg as they applaud Toyota shareholders for rejecting the pressure of environmental activists to phase out the internal combustion engine and go all in on electric vehicles. They also sigh as President Biden once again offers up completely false or badly outdated talking points – including his new favorite factoid that Africa will soon have one billion people, a level it reached in 2009. Finally, they smack down PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan’s assertion that the PGA Tour only made a deal with the Saudis and the LIV Tour because Congress didn’t do more to help.
